Present it as "Which should we choose?" NOT "Should we do it?"
;)

Haha! I'm going to talk more about how much more relaxing the 13th will be for us if we wake up at WDW instead of running to the airport at 4 in the morning. Ha!

Wow this thread moves fast!! Been MIA for a couple days, and I just had to catch up with 15 or so pages!

So I know I'm super late chiming in, but thought I'd give my 2 cents anyways on Disney transportation. We went last year on our first trip at the end of September, and didn't regret for a second using Disney's transportation! Keep in mind we stayed at SSR which is really quiet and never a crowded bus stop, but we were never squished on buses (well except once at MK closing but not too bad), and generally a bus was there to pick us up within 5 minutes. The bus drivers were all super fun, loved listening to the Disney spiel on the buses or music. We only had to wait 20 minutes once when we were trying to get to AK for an early morning breakfast, and a CM came by and called a bus, special for us, then gave us a ticket for fastpasses for any ride we wanted that day. So we didn't mind waiting at all! Honestly I can't say enough good things about disney buses, it's a way to stay in the magic and completely relax and have no worries the entire trip. Makes you feel like you're in the Disney bubble 100% of the time. We really dislike driving though and it stresses us out, plus we're from a small town and don't drive in the city much as it is. It's great for us to both be able to have a drink or two with supper rather than one having to refrain since they have to drive. I don't think I would ever consider renting a car, for me it would feel a little less vacation-y if we had to drive ourselves anywhere.

Hey guys......of course I'm playing with my ADRs because I don't have anything else to do :). If you had to choose between Teppen Edo, Beirgarten, or San Angel Inn for lunch......which would you choose? I am seriously considering upgrading to DxDP after seeing how much $ we are paying out of pocket during our trip! I mean, we might as well get more bang for the buck, shouldn't we? Of course, that means we give up CS at Morocco.....anyway, what would you do for lunch?

Can't help on the second question, but for the first I would pick Biergarten for sure! I'm a bit biased though, my grandparents are from German so I ate german food growing up. :) Haven't tried the other two, but San Angel looks beautiful, and we have an ADR for Teppan Edo for this trip.

You may now update!!!!! :cool1::cool1::cool1:

Thank you to everyone for weighing in on my resort choice!! I called and got the best. CM. ever. He was hilarious. I said I was calling to make my 500th change and he said dont worry, there are plenty of people who have made 1000 changes. I did preferred because I really, really want Casitas. I requested Casitas 3 so it is closer to the first bus stop and he was amazed. He said most people calling in dont know the names of the sections, much less the building numbers. He asked if I wanted a job. Gotta love the dis!!!!!! :lmao:

I'm so relieved you have made the big move! I think we were in the Cabanas when we stayed there last. I hope you can do the big pool at least once....my kids lives that pool!

There's been a problem with the website. I had to call earlier this week to get mine because the discount wasn't showing up for any resorts/any dates. But when I called there was still plenty if availability.

Though I think the discount expires tomorrow, so you'll want to call soon if you're going to do it.

Thanks for the tip. I called today and finally went ahead with it... Booked AKL for the last night... We have an afternoon flight home on Sunday so I figured we could get up and take the sunrise safari or something.

Also, I asked for clarification on the discount when I was talking to a CM last week... The discount "exipiration" of September 29th is only for October bookings.

Check this out:
Special Offer

You'll notice in small print it says: "For travel in November and December, book by October 31, 2012."

Soooo... Us December-ites still have until the end of October to get our discount in (assuming there are still rooms available at least)

Well, we're all set to get into MCO late on the 12th. We'll be staying at AoA the first night, too, so just move me from the 13th to the 12th. Yay!

I know I have mentioned my recent weight loss on this board, so I have a question for all of you. Florida weather is very unpredictable and I just realized I will not have any summer-like clothing to wear for days when it is hot. Does anyone know of any stores that sell summer clothes in November/December? I am fine with online shopping too. Right now would be the perfect time to buy since most items are on clearance, but I really don't know what size I will be in 2 months.

I would wait. I have bought every size between and it changed quicker than you imagine it would. Unless you know you won't be smaller than a certain size....I have 4 pairs of capris in a size 8 that I thinned out of in 5 weeks.... : /

I've been following mostly since the beginning, but you all make it hard some days. :wave2:

We're going nov 29 - dec 11 staying at aoa. Me, dh, ds3 and dm63. It is the first visit for all of us to wdw but we live about 20 minutes from dlr. We were originally going on dec 1 but we "had" to add two days to get free dining.

Hey I am in the same boat it's a great boat to be in really lol, almost all stores have clearance on summer clothes. I find better deals online. I am currently buying two sizes smaller then my current size. But only if your sure. Old navy was having a huge clears bathing suits, shirts and shorts from 2-5 dollars in pa( Franklin mills). If I find any online deals I will let you know. Congrats on the weight loss!!!

I vote Teppen Edo. I am a sucker for hibachi, and Disney hibachi is ALWAYS better!

I grew up in Los Angeles, so DL was my home park. Now I live in S. Florida. I love comparing WDW to DL. Hope you have a wonderful first visit!

Sweet!!! Sounds like a great decision to me! :thumbsup2

Actually, it's real easy. On the bottom right-hand corner of every message are three icons/buttons.

When the editing screen comes up, you will have all of the messages you quoted, including the last one.

Yippie!! I did it!!! Thanks :)

So the initial BoG menus stated underneath the entree section stated that dessert was included. But looking now at the menu on the Disney site, it doesn't say this. WAH. Hoping they are wrong! ;) But, I doubt it.

Nice plans!!! You totally should do a PTR!! :thumbsup2

I actually stared typing something up at work today :rolleyes1 shhh dont tell my boss.

Hello all! I am SO glad that it's Friday!

Did you all see the 30th anniversary Epcot shirts? I'm thinking of maybe grabbing one for myself and one for my partner. No surprises this time, though; I'm gonna ask which one she likes. Ha!

I saw those!! I was thinking of getting the one with :figment:

There is no way I am cancelling this trip! I don't care if they have to wheel me around on a hospital bed, I will be at Disney in December! So after my ummm 30 minutes of fretting, I get a phone call that they want to reschedule me to the end of Oct/ early Nov. I said I would prefer to just completely postpone the surgery until Jan. The nurse asked why. I told her about my trip. She reviewed the schedule and now I am having my surgery on Wed. I think I will be about 9 weeks post op when we leave for Disney. I should be doing pretty well by then. Now I am in nesting mode.

Good Luck!!

Hey guys......of course I'm playing with my ADRs because I don't have anything else to do :).

That's part of my daily routine anymore

Bealls is a Florida store that sells summer like clothes all year round - you could buy them on line (guess at a size), keep receipts and if they don't fit when you get to Florida you could exchange them at any Bealls store. They do run sales all year round so you could wait to order online just before your trip. Another option is Dillards - I think their Florida stores have summer like clothes in Nov. & Dec. :goodvibes
