PART TWO *December 2012 Roll Call* Holidays, FLE & MVMCP!! A very, merry thread!

Last year I was just now buying our airfare. Got a great deal, all 6 of us for just under $1000.
This year, I was worried about rising gas prices, airfare, etc. so we bit the bullet a bit earlier, still got a good rate, $1100 for 6 of us. The same flights we're on are now $1800! Glad I did not wait! :thumbsup2:worship:

I always say the walking helps too. Would be interesting in getting one of those step counters to see how many miles are clocked.

I am getting one :teeth: Doing research at the moment - for instance, I have read a lot of reviews that say the New Balance ones are inaccurate so still making my choices.

Ooh if you get one we can compare mileage :teeth:

Ok before I post a new thread about this I am going to ask you guys. Well mostly because you all rock!

So friends of ours have a 3 yo who is going to Disney - she has tree nut allergies and Disney can not guarantee a "safe" birthday cake. Does anyone know of anywhere near WDW that can do that? Maybe a baker that uses King Arthur Flour. Treats are so hard for her and if anyone has any suggestions you could help add some pixie dust on her vacation!

I think Baby Cakes in DTD might be an option! Give them a call!

You could try Babycakes in DTD. They can't say they don't use nuts because of coconut & their flour is made on machines that package some nuts but it says they powerwash & discard in between batches. It can't hurt to look into them. It may not help, but you don't know unless you try!

Thanks. The coconut isn't safe either. Treats are so hard. I hope something turns up- Orlando is a big city hoping for a bakery somewhere!

I bought my partner and I pearl cage carriage necklaces from eBay. I think it'll be nice to surprise her with picking a pearl.

I saw this online too (not a cake of course)

Prepackaged Snacks
Divvies Chocolate Chip Cookies, Caramel Popcorn, and Jelly Beans are made without milk, eggs, peanuts and tree nuts and can be found in the following locations:

Magic Kingdom – Main Street Bakery
Epcot – Liberty Inn & Electric Umbrella
Animal Kingdom – Kusafari Bakery & Tusker House Restaurant
Hollywood Studios – Starring Rolls Bakery

Also, check out this site and maybe ask there.

Sweet! That will be a nice surprise for her! :thumbsup2 I have read that you should pick the 'ugliest' oyster as they tend to have the nicest pearl inside. Not sure the difference between an ugly and attractive oyster!

Our WalMart is totally transformed! Christmas trees, ornaments, decoration! I'm patiently (ok, maybe not patiently :hyper:) waiting for some Disney ones, at least some window clings!

I saw Jake & The Neverland Pirates window clings for fall at Walmart yesterday.... Can't wait for the Christmas ones.

Is there a Whole Foods in Orlando? A local friend just used them for her daughter who has a lot of food sensitivities.

Tonight is a great night ... As I sit here and type on my phone my final trip payment is processing on the computer!! I love seeing that zero balance along with my countdown. 68 days till we leave and 69 days until we check in. Yikes it will be here before we know it!! Time to start packing lists and to do lists.

I'm off to order my photopass + .... Have a good night.

Let me know which one you get. I am so bad at researching that kind of stuff. Some may just call it laziness:lmao:
