PART TWO *December 2012 Roll Call* Holidays, FLE & MVMCP!! A very, merry thread!

He is a mini golf (and real golf) fan. We played at a course on I-4 last year and it was pretty bad, just not maintained at all. So I said this year we are playing a Disney course. And then somehow that morphed into buying the WP&M so we could play multiple times. It will be interesting to see how often we actually do it. I am guessing twice.

We keep saying we are going to try WDW mini golf and never do. Have been trying to figure out if we could do it one night this trip that the parks close early. We have a night at DHS that closes at 8, and one at Epcot closing at 9:30 (plus Illuminations). On one of those, we are planning to check out the decorations at the Boardwalk resorts. Is mini golf doable at night? I thought I read they are open until 11? How crowded do the courses get? I suppose if it's cold out (no!!!!!!) it wouldn't be crowded.
We also potentially have one day where we might have some free time around noon. This trip is pretty packed since it's short and we've never been for Christmas time before. Mini golf will prob need to wait until our next trip, which DD & I would like to be longer so we can get back to the water parks also...


Back to the topic of kid-free nights out - we ended up not doing Jellyrolls bc we bought MNSSHP tix instead. We did do a concert at the House of Blues though. That was a blast! And also spent some time a diff day watching some of the outdoor performers at DTD

We booked Kouzzina for our only date night. Anyone else get a date night in and where??

DH and I have talked about it here and there, but haven't really made a decision yet. I'm sure my mom and brother would not mind watching DS10 so that DH and I can have some time together. A couple's massage at Saratoga Springs sounds real good right now But I doubt we can book one this close to our vacation.

Do you need to pay to join to get the most out of that site? I'm not sure how involved I will get with the touring plans....although it is totally my nature to plan ever single minute of our trip. I'm trying really hard to keep this trip more relaxed!

It was $11.95 for 1 year. I have never done it before, but going at Christmas I thought it would be a good idea!

I can't wait to hear about everyone's trips. I'd love to do a TR but who knows if I'll have time after the trip with Christmas only a couple weeks after. Plus we can do live TRs here

We've never been to Jellyrolls, what's it like? We loved walking DTD last year and listening to the outdoor musicians. Wonder if we should check Jellyrolls out.

Another question. Would it be off for two rather large kids (DH loves Phinneas & Ferb) to do the Agent P adventure. How long does it take?

Jelly Rolls is AWESOME!!!! It's a dueling piano bar. Everyone drinks and sings out the songs with the performers and they are so funny too. Omg best adult fun I've ever had at WDW. Seriously! Check it out. You won't be sorry. I'm sure there's videos of it on YouTube.

I seriously have issues. I was just over on the resort boards. First--should not be there because it makes me want to switch resorts. CSR is sooo pretty. But I am paid off and happy at POP. (Big sigh) Secondly--I am reading a thread on what to do when your child wets the bed. I don't have kids!!!!! Why on earth am I reading this? I am so addicted to the dis that I read things that do not pertain to me at all. I did stop after a few posts, but really why did I click on it??

We can stop each other from skipping to the grocery store in our princess dresses, dragging plastic rabbits & chipmonks behind us and a stuffed bluebird tied onto our shoulder .... trying to recreate that whole Disney scene.
