OMG. You were seriously still up at 3 in the morning waiting for the presale of a phone?????? Ok, I'm sorry but we cant be friends anymore. So did you get one? I still have a dumbphone, but I do love my ipad. I have the new Disney app. I forget what it's called now and too lazy to look it up. My Disney Experience maybe.

No one has a dumber phone than me. Even burn phones are more advanced than mine. I have a 5+yr old Nextel, and I still love it. It does everything I need and can take a beating.

For fun, I do enjoy my Kindle Fire though.

Haha you're funny! Nope, I'm due an upgrade so I'll get an Iphone4s because it will go down to 99cents now that the Iphone5 is out

I have a 4S now, but I found someone willing to buy it off me, so the upgrade is only costing me $64 after tax. For that, I couldn't resist upgrading.

I ended up preordering one through AT&T when I got to work. I have a 3gs (which used to belong to one of my partners) and it is just the worst lately. I mean, about 1/4 of the time when I open the camera (not a fancy app or anything), the thing just shuts off. Awesome, eh?

My mom and stepdad have Nextels. They have some great warranty where if anything breaks, they take it into the store and they have to fix it or replace it. Their phones are sooo old. My mom's still has the little antenna you pull up.

They started at midnight pacific time (since Apple is based in California), which made it 3AM eastern time.

These are preliminary winter predictions. Apparently the more finalized predictions come out in Oct. Of course, that doesn’t say what the temp will be on any particular day but overall most of these are showing colder than normal temps in Florida for Dec. ( And massive snow for the mid-Atlantic.)

Best Mexican food I have ever had was in San Antonio!! It was many years ago, somewhere near the Riverwalk. I agree, you should not go to San Angel.

Ok - should you fine folks (if you're not - don't tell me) ever find yourselves in SA again, I'd love to show you some "good" Mexican food. I'm sorry, but the Riverwalk isn't the place. Just like other major touristy-type cities, the real-deal food isn't found at the center of attractions. And I don't say this just because I live here, I'm actually from a border city in west TX so I grew up on Mexican food. I can tell you my abuela never charged $8 for rice and beans... she could feed the whole family for a week on what some of these so-called-mexican-food joints charge for one plate... sorry, stepping off the box now...

Speaking of which, any good iPhone app recommendations?

We had the Undercover Tourist app during June for our trip and we found it really helpful. Not a bad one to have.

In real trip news... we're all booked for Coral Reef for dinner (actually late lunch) on Dec. 4 and doing the 6:45pm showing of the Candlelight ceremony. Checked the almanac and it shows the sun setting at 5:29pm that evening - so I'm thinking 6:45pm will be a good time.

I've seen some amazing pics of the ice cream treats... Also look forward to trying Earl of Sandwich and Wolf Gang Puck Express for the first time. Funny we have an EOS here in San Antonio, just too far for me to get there... so instead, I'll just fly a thousand miles from here to do it
