Disney's adding 1000+ seats to Fantasmic!.

Two things came to mind when I saw that:
1) They didn't announce when they'll be adding seats, but I'd assume it'll be before holiday season, right?
1) Hopefully they won't go back to not showing it every day, now that they'll be able to accommodate way more people when they show it. That would really mess with my plans if the drop Fantasmic! from the evening we'll be in HS...

My guess would be after the holidays. They might have to shut it down to do the changes.

I hadn't thought of the second item. The whole reason they only showed it a few days a week is because it's super expensive to run. They started running every day before they shut it down for the refurb. I honestly expected them to go back to that at some point. It would not surprise me at all if that is the point of this change.

I just hope there's no changes for Dec. My plan can't handle any more adjustments.

I wonder where they will put the new seats. I can't picture adding sections to the side or going up any higher. Interesting.

The Standing Room section is at the top, right?. They'll have to be tiered so I guess that will be higher.

At 4:35pm, 3 months from now, we will be on a plane bound for Orlando. 16+ hrs after that, we will be walking through the front door of the Port Orleans Riverside.

At this moment, 3 months from now, I will be saying "We leave for Disney in 9 days!!!"

I'm still hoping I can find a different ADR for BOG. One will have to show up at some point, right?

There have been some already on the cancelled thread, so hopefully a better one opens up for you. I decided I like my other ADRs, so I stopped looking.

3 months from now I will be sitting here in my bedroom freaking out over all of the procrastinating I've done

Actually, I hope I won't be freaking out....but I will be very excited and very difficult to work with on that day and the next! We leave on Dec 8th....I'll be looking for everyone's lime green mickey!

Is your plane flying to China and back before landing in Orlando? Why 16+ hours?!?!

Isn't that the truth! Disney really knows how to build the anticipation! I don't think I have ever been this excited for a trip!

I know! I am SO excited - not only are we there for the christmas festivities but we have FLE aswell! I can't wait to eat at BOG - it was the first Disney movie hubby and I watched together so it has a special place in our heart

I'm kinda in planning overload though now - there is nothing more I can do but I don't what else to do arrggghhhhhh. Oh well, painting my dining room floor at the weekend seeing as I pulled the carpet up when I was having a 'moment' Something I saw on HGTV so I'm looking forward to experimenting ... wish me luck, it could be a disaster haha!

No. Not quite. We're gonna spend that night offsite so we can maximize Disney time. We get to the resort well rested and ready to go. No 1/2 travel 1/2 park days for us.

But we are going to EPCOT this day. So technically you are right. We will see China.
