What do you folks think the odds are of me getting a lunch of dinner ADR for CRT on the 13th or 14th? I have a slightly altered (and potentially more awesome) plan in my head. Ha!

:offtopic: I had to laugh Wedgie. I saw the thread you started about the pedometer and someone welcomed you to the Dis. I thought wow she talks a lot. Joined this month and already 250 posts. LOL

 WOW.

Don't tell DH - I always protest when he says I talk a lot.

When I read that I hear *evil stylie* mwahahahahaha laughter in my head :teeth:

Not sure what you're odds are but you never know. Go for it! Stalk Disney Dining til they relent.

Haha! Kind of. I was reading reviews of CRT (which I, for some reason, keep confusing with Akershus - princesses?) and it looks like a really nice, interesting thing for us to do.

I did join Touring Plans, I am going Dec. 26-Jan 2nd!!!:scared1:

Sounds like you're in good shape then. I think the biggest issue is simply setting expectations and knowing that you have to prioritize. You're doing that already so it should be fine. Crowds aside, it's an exciting time to go. Take some time out from your plan to just enjoy the holiday magic and you'll be fine. :)

This is my 3000th post!! There's no other place on the Dis I would want it to be!!

Just counted and in 11 weeks from today, I will be watching my daughter get her first haircut at Harmony and then heading over to BoG for dinner and then MVMCP!!
:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

Less than 10 weeks for me. Ack! That makes it sound scary close. I still have a lot to do.

Its $12. I joined but really only because it is fun to play with LOL. One thing I have found handy though - I do not 'plan' rides etc but with TP it allows me to work out what we are able to do realistically :)

That's the best feature of the new custom TPs. Even if you're not going to stick to a plan it gives you a pretty good idea of how much you can fit in, how long the estimated wait time will be on a given day/time and how long it takes to walk from point to point.

Our thread is already 100 pages in!! We just might make it to Part Three after all!

:dance3::dance3::dance3::dance3:

Might? I've been off for about 24 hours and missed 10 pages. ;)

Wish I knew that before I bought it. Ha! Nevermind, thank you anyway :goodvibes

Oooh, forgot about the app. Might just have to download that - might tear me away from my Ihandy Level app :rotfl:

I have to say I much prefer TPs Lines app to the free Disney one. Disney uses wait times as a tool to shift traffic. That means their posted wait times are not always actually accurate.

DH and I are planning a date night while in Disney. All the restaurants we wanted to dine at in Epcot are booked :/

What do you all think of Portobello in DTD?

Not familiar with that one. Did you try the resorts at Epcot? Anything there that appeals?

We booked Kouzzina for our only date night. Anyone else get a date night in and where??

We don't really get a "date night" because DSis is with us, but we o get Adults Night Out. We always choose Fridays for Epcot EMH. Planning to hit the Tequila Cave then dinner at R&C then hit the various wine bars. And since our last night is also a Friday, we might just do it all again. ;)

Is anyone planning on trying Sorcerer's of the Magic Kingdom during their trip? If so, how have you scheduled that into your plans?

It sounds cool but I don't know how time consuming it will be. It's not a priority for us, but I'd like to fit a few portals in.

Yes, this is right up AdS10s alley so we couldnt miss it. I'm estimating about 20 minutes per mission assuming the lines aren't too long. We're planning a slower trip in MK this year so we'll definitely be doing some. If my inlaws go, I told my son SOTMK has to take a back seat to the plan for them. If the don't go, I'm sure we'll spend more time on it. Either way, I'll probably take some time on an off day morning (DS and I don't really sleep in) to get him some dedicated play time.

And make sure everyone in your party registers for the game, so you can all get card packs each time you go to MK.

I want to take a try at that and agent p in Epcot. We will see how time works out :)

My son lived KP so this is on our list too. We generally let him play in a country while we're browsing the shops or sitting on the bench with an adult beverage. Works out well for us. ;)

We've never been to Jellyrolls, what's it like? We loved walking DTD last year and listening to the outdoor musicians. Wonder if we should check Jellyrolls out.

Another question. Would it be off for two rather large kids (DH loves Phinneas & Ferb) to do the Agent P adventure. How long does it take?

Figure 20 minutes per mission if you're going straight through. Longer if you're browsing around the countries. And, it's definitely fun for all ages. ;)

We have MVMCP tickets for December 6th that we got way before they announced the grandopening of Fantasyland. Do you think the grandopening is going to make the Christmas Party crazy busy or busier than it would have been? I'm probably the only person not excited about the grandopening being during their very first December trip.:worried:

I got a lunch ADR at CRT for the 20th! Woot! That means I'll have to move our LTT lunch ADR to the 13th or the 14th, but that shouldn't be too hard.

I can't believe that happened!

Question: On the lunch menu, it says there is a "tasting plate". Does anyone know what they normally is? I'm vegan (and put some of my restrictions down - I wish they just had a vegan option!), but I'm curious what is usually provided.

It might be busier than a party in early December would have been otherwise. I think MK during the day will definitely be busier. But if everyone is focused on FL then the rest of the park might not be too bad. If you are going to the party for the Christmas stuff and have a different day for MK, I think you'll be fine. 20 years from now, you can say remember when we were at MK on the opening day of FL?? :thumbsup2

Wow!! Congrats on getting the ADR so quickly!!
