The job people called asking for copies of my college transcripts. I think thats a good sign - they dont need official, so now if I can put my hands on the copy at the house - I'm sure I have an electronic copy but we've had a lot of computers and HDs since I graduated in the dark ages. EEk!

I'd say I'd work the extra calories off at the gym tonight, but I just realized I left my gym bag at home........drat! (grumbles to self about needing to remember to buy a second chlorine resistant lap suit so she doesn't have to take the whole gym bag out of the car at night anymore..........)

She is much tougher than me. I had it done on Friday and had the whole next week off. But really, I could have gone back earlier. I also milked my thyroid surgery for 3 weeks off. That's what the surgeon signed off and so that is what I took. Came in very handy for planning last year's trip.

The doc gave me a week but I didnt have the medical leave to take, and I didnt want to burn up personal time that I could save for vacation!

And I really felt like going back to work, nothing was wrong with me. I felt so much better after that mess was gone!

If you can't find your copy, check your college's website. On my alma matter's site you can print out an unofficial copy of your transcripts immediately, so you might be able to do the same! And yes, that is a good sign!

Ok everyone.....If I mention the Disney Store website again, someone yell at me or something. Must. Stop. Spending. Money. But this order did involve presents for my niece, so that is good. And the cute holiday M&M plushes and a watch for me.

Let me get this straight. You want THIS board to KEEP you from spending money? Val, did you get hit on your head or something, or have you just not been reading the past 600+ pages???? 'Cause I'm pretty sure this thread exists just to GET people to spend more money on Disney stuff

Yup, I drew the short end of the straw this year. Although I will have off the first 17 days in December, 13 of which will be in WDW. And, I don't have to work another holiday until 2014.

Life could be worse.

Well, working Christmas does stink, but the 13 days in WDW and no more holiday shifts for over a year is very good

Hi everyone! Boy it's a full time job keeping up! We have some good news and some bad news from our trip planning. First the good: I mentioned to DH that our last day of vacation will end early since we have a 5:30 at BOG and there is a party that night. Guess what he said?!?! He said why don't we use our Disney Visa reward dollars and go to the party again! Woo hoo, what a way to end our vacation!!

Now for the bad. My mom has been having abdominal pain looked at. They have said that she has gallstones and needs her gallbladder out Her appointment with the surgeon is Tuesday so we'll see what happens. Please send us some pixie dust.

Umm, wasn't 2010 the year where almost every state in the nation actually had a WHITE Christmas? I KNOW that's the year we got almost 4 feet of snow at the house Christmas Eve.............I'm not sure that's the year I'd be basing my packing list off of

I totally do that too! And it is amazing how many things cost "about 20 bucks".

Pretty good day! Got my dress, shoes and shoes for my DD in the mail. All are AWESOME! I also went out and got my DDs Snow White dress for Halloween. We are hoping the rain holds off and we can go to a Festival in VT on Sunday. DD3 will be Snow White and DD1 will be Nemo!!
