:rotfl: I'm not much of a shopper, but this thread even has me tempted, and I'm more the type to spend too much time on the Budget Board ...

Oh, that Budget Board is EVIL. They have threads on there where people boast about NOT shopping for MONTHS (shudders in horror). Good thing you found this Roll Call. We'll get your bad non-shopping habit fixed right quick!

Everyone is shopping - I've been mopping floors  Story of my life ... but I do mop wearing my very best sparkles :teeth:

Thursday is to me what Saturday and Sunday is to most others (my husband is off and so am I on Thursdays and Sundays) :)

I'm an online shopper. Within an hour I don't have much of a choice. However I do budget and I love thrift and consignment stores. In fact I recently located this great consignment store near Dartmouth college that has awesome clothes very cheap.

Add me to the list! Arriving at Pop on 12/29 for the 1st of 9 nights at WDW, happy new year!!! :)

Actually, the Budget Board has some great threads with coupon codes for lots of great stores and special deals that help feed my shopping addiction! But, as for the no-spending, no-eating-out threads, they are of no help to me!

I loved the husband math comment. When I was growing up, I remember thinking that my mom was so silly for hiding things she would buy or telling my dad that something cost a lot less than it really did. Now, I find myself doing that from time to time. "What this old shirt? Honey, I have had it forever." :lmao:

The job people called asking for copies of my college transcripts. I think thats a good sign - they dont need official, so now if I can put my hands on the copy at the house - I'm sure I have an electronic copy but we've had a lot of computers and HDs since I graduated in the dark ages. EEk!

Congrats! But why on earth would they need those unless someone is right out of school?

I don't online shop - I browse but I find online shopping too easy and I make impractical decisions. Its where i buy ridiculous stuff :guilty:

I love consignment stores and I have also discovered recently a couple of local virtual yard sales on FB. They are invite only and mainly Mums in the area who need to get rid of stuff but don't have time for yard sales.

Yep, I also don't have much of a choice of where to buy things, living on Maui. We're very deprived, don't even have a Target only a Walmart and Costco. So what shopping I do is a lot on Amazon and eBay.
However, I came to California yesterday for an interview tomorrow, and since the friends I'm staying with live right near an outlet mall (one of the ones that take up a few blocks), I thought I'd go see if I could snag some things I can't get at home and for the life of me can't find a replacement casserole dish for the one DH took to work and broke a few months back. So I think I'm just a bad shopper, too picky or something ...

I don't have much of a choice. I live about 2 hours from "real" shopping. Not worth the gas or time! I tend to take days to mull over online shopping - because I've gone on shopping binges... Damn you amazon prime!! Like today I drove 50 miles to the grocery store because my other choices are Walmart and small junky stores with half rotten produce. I do make a point when we do drive long distances to look for 2nd hand stores especially for good quality children's clothes.

I find it amazing sometimes that I moved from NJ a shopping Mecca to about an hour and 15 min south of Canada in the middle of the woods!!

I have Walmart close by. I drive about an hour to local shopping which is groceries, BJs,and some clothing stores but no malls or anything like that. I am happy we have an EMS and a gap factory store there... There is a lot of small town shops too but most of them too over priced - and selection is meh.... Every few months we drive to Southern NH go to Boston (3 hrs) go to the aquarium/museum and do some shopping... :) it usually corresponds with my kids needing new clothes or Christmas type shopping :)

I hereby solemnly swear that I will not do any more shopping!! At least not today :rotfl2:

I bought my family matching Christmas PJs from the Disney Store this morning. And I just pre-purchased our photopass+

I have justified it all. The PJs because DS17 thinks it would be funny to have a matching PJs family photo on our Christmas card, and well, I need to take advantage of these things before he's away at college
And the PP+ I saved money by preordering!

I am done. No more shopping. No more shopping. No more shopping...

I saw those pjs and want to get them for my little ones. The plaid is too cute!

Can't you get a copy from your college, maybe on the website?

If you can't find your copy, check your college's website. On my alma matter's site you can print out an unofficial copy of your transcripts immediately, so you might be able to do the same! And yes, that is a good sign!

OK duh. I hate when I reply and then see that someone else already took care of it. Oh well, great minds.....

Congrats! But why on earth would they need those unless someone is right out of school?

I always have to supply transcripts for proof that I really got the degrees that are on my resume. You know, that Doctorate in Medicine :rotfl:

Good evening everyone :wave2:

Got a coupon via e-mail tonight for 20% off at the Mall of America location Disney Store. Unfortunately the store is small and I rarely find anything there. Hoping to get a coupon for online soon as I really want a Pluto Pillow Pet and they don't have them at the MOA store. Keeping my fingers crossed.

DH e-mailed me a link while at work today to play-sets online on the Disney store. He said he kind of wants to start collecting sets. He is so cute. I love that my DH really loves Disney as much as I do :)
