This is a shopping update...
So a couple of weeks ago I ordered two fleece pull overs, one for me and one for DH. We got them personalized with our names. They arrived a few days ago and they fit, but mine is short I should have known, so mad at myself. I am tall and should have figured I needed to order a men's. Oh well. I guess I will just be wearing longer shirts with it.

Today we went to the Mall of America which we rarely do because it is always so busy and we have other smaller malls that I can get to just as easy. Anyway, we went to the Disney Store and ended up getting two t-shirts (2 for $15) the Woody one is mine and the other is DH's.

Super cute!

I also bought a pair of tall black boots. This is a big deal for me. Since I have always been plus size, I have always had a hard time finding boots that fit over my calves. Since losing some weight this year I was able to find a pair that work! That's it for now. Needed to balance the checkbook

You know it's great that your daughter wanted to return and made sure to get your attention to do it. Far too often people don't seem thankful or appreciative. If it was me I woulda given her a high five!

I couldn't live without it. I use the crowd Calendar, personalized touring pans and the Lines app. But it totally depends on what you would use it for.

61 days for us! It's our first trip to Disney for Christmas, and we are all very excited. It's the first family trip of my new blended family - me (49), DH (52), DD (who will be turning 21 during the trip!), DS (19), DD's Fiance (24), DSS (27), DSS's GF (28), DSS (24), and "adopted" DS (19). The new part of our family has only been to Disney once and only to Epcot for a day - can you believe that? We can't wait to share Disney with them - our way!

Our blended family has had it's share of difficulties.......although I fondly remember our last trip to WDW in 2004.......fun times!

I once got $400 out of the ATM to pay the house-sitter and leave her money for pet food etc.

My DD then wanted a capsule out of one of those vending machines in Publix and I left my wallet on top. I realised when I got home.

I called Publix and someone had handed it in but I had already resigned myself to the fact that it was doubtful the cash was there - when I got there I cried when I found ALL CASH still there and the customer service girl pointed out the guy who handed it in, he was still doing his grocery shopping with his kids. I ran up to him and gave him the biggest hug EVER, I was blubbing everywhere and I told his kids what a wonderful man their father was. The kids thought it was funny as heck

THAT was the best thing you could have done! I don't think all kids think of their parents as "heros" but what that father did exemplified honesty. That prize was worth more than all the treasures at Pirates of the Carribean I'd have been bawling too.......I'm such a sap. It sure is good to see honest people as detailed on this thread by a few of you!

Why is that? I'm trying not to let it take over my every waking hour. We leave on Wednesday for a 10 hour drive to West Virginia (hubby's dad has a wonderful cabin in the hills)......it's such a relaxing time and if he tv antenae doesn't work, his uncle has satellite down the road a bit......hopefully we'll have a vested interest in the World Series Then the following weekend I go to Chicago with 2 of my sisters and step mom. Then two weeks after that I go to my alma mater for a Mizzou football game in mid-Missouri. Wow! Then it'll be 3 weeks after that it'll be disney-time! Woo-freakin'-hoo!!! Now I'M excited too!

well one thing I can say about my daughter is, even though she can have a sucky attitude sometimes (she's 11) she always goes out of her way to help others so thats not a bad thing. She doesn't always get thanks but I tell her thats no reason to stop helping.

That vacation can't come fast enough. I've had a fever for the past 2 days and feel miserable. Hopefully you guys are healthier than me.

My boys are sick too. I'll be heading to the docs tomorrow to get antibiotics for my older son. Younger guy got them on Thursday
