Does anyone know if I need to do anything about this:

The original credit card I used to secure the vacation package has since been compromised, cancelled, and a new card reissued.

Seems that might be a problem if they ask to see the original card used to book?

I've never been asked to show the original card I used to book. I usually pay it in installments using multiple cards, so that wouldn't work for me anyway!

Shouldn't matter. You already paid the deposit. You can provide a different card for remaining payments, room charges, etc.

I agree. You should just need to give a valid cc at checkin

Exactly what mom2travel said. They will ask you for a valid cc# at check -in and may ask if you want to use the last one you used to pay for your trip, but you can give them any card you want.

Argh! I've never had the desire to do a Character Meal before, but now that I really, really want to (thanks in part to the fact that I've decided I am ordering PP+), there are none available for any of my days. I am checking several times a day, but nothing

I'm panicking because we are going to HS on Dec 2 and the website says this is the park to avoid!

This is us also - we're doing EMH on Dec. 2 at DHS and really can't move it around even if we wanted too... We're only there for four days so we have to do our touring plans around whatever Disney plans for EMH. If we had more days then definitely would look at other options. I'm banking on Sunday night, being a school night, that it won't be as bad as summer nights or when kids are out of school... *fingers crossed*

She is on coumiden & a bunch of other meds. She's just really been going down over the last year.
A lot can happen in 8 weeks. Trying to stay positive & not worry about the what ifs! Feeling better today at least.

First, it's only natural to worry about what-if's... it's like a bad joke our brain likes to play... but you're doing the right thing by staying positive and also realistic. Maybe, if time allows, you can spend some extra time with her before your trip? That'll help with feelings you might have in the event something does happen while you're gone? Don't know but things always have a way of working out...

Where is everyone eating in DTD?? Any thoughts??

I'm hoping we'll do both Wolfgang Puck Express and Earl of Sandwich. We're staying at the DTD Hilton so I'm excited that we'll be so close to DTD! I've heard great things about WPE's breakfast pizza and also lunch choices.

Where is everyone eating in DTD?? At first we weren't going there at all. Now we are going there on arrival day and maybe another evening if DH enjoys Disney Quest (personally, I think we can play arcade games in Ohio, but whatever makes him happy and wanting to come back). We ate at Earl of Sandwich last year and enjoyed it. Could do that again. Or we could make a lunch ADR for arrival day and eat at Earl if we go back later in the week. I see a lot of you talking about T-Rex. We have been to RFC other places, but not in WDW. Any thoughts??

easyWDW had the updates to the November calendar, so that means only another month until December is done. I honestly cannot wait to cancel all of the ADRs we don't really need.

Online check in question? Do they ask you for a cc when you do online check in? We don't have a cc just a visa debit card. My parents are giving us a cc to take with us just in case and we were going to put that note room (we don't plant to charge to it). Not sure how tat would work.

Lucky you! I'm trying for an early ADR for CRT and an early for Askershus. Maybe 1900 Park Fare for dinner for my arrival day too, if one came open. Even getting one of them would work!

I'm pretty sure that, for the purposes of check-in, a debit card should function the same as a credit card.

This is true...except many hotels pit a "hold" on debit cards, with wildly varying ranges of the hold, and while normally it is released immediately upon check out, it can take days. So Always check hotel policy!

I love Command - they do a great range of hooks and stuff that go on the walls and then can be removed without leaving marks ... I use them all the time in my daughters room. Target normally has a whole stand with Command products, its where I get ours from.

I bought 2 pkg of the hooks yesterday. $1.50 for a pair per pkg.....at our Dollar General.
