Where is everyone eating in DTD?? At first we weren't going there at all. Now we are going there on arrival day and maybe another evening if DH enjoys Disney Quest (personally, I think we can play arcade games in Ohio, but whatever makes him happy and wanting to come back). We ate at Earl of Sandwich last year and enjoyed it. Could do that again. Or we could make a lunch ADR for arrival day and eat at Earl if we go back later in the week. I see a lot of you talking about T-Rex. We have been to RFC other places, but not in WDW. Any thoughts??

Babycakes :rotfl: gluten, peanut free goodies I don't have to bake -- SCORE :cheer2:

Cupcakes are real food and count for a meal right?

Oh and for dessert I will have a chocolate caramel apple from Goofy's Candy Shop :p

Wolfgang Puck Express....

Yummy. We ate there a bunch of times on our last trip. We were at OKW and we would drop the kiddos off (we vacationed with another family) and 2 of us would go get take out from there... I say at least 3 times....maybe 4 or 5?

I'm finding it's not as easy to keep track of things as it was 10 years ago. MyFitnessPal is giving me a wake up call as to how much calories I'm taking in and I've got some adjusting to do.

It's good... Last year when I first started this diet my husband thought I was nuts for measuring salad dressing. However I think I taught him how to eat a salad with ranch and not a ranch salad.... It's also helpful in knowing things you can eat a lot of if you are in a snacky mood with out feeling guilty. :)

Definitely Wolfgang Puck's Express. The only problem is do I want the pizza, pasta, or bacon wrapped meatloaf? Decisions decisions...:confused3

I'm also hoping we can find time for a second visit to DTD (maybe on depature day) to grab a holiday sandwich from EOS. Those look delish!

Wow!! That is some love for WPE. :goodvibes Did you go to the one on the Marketplace side? I think there are two, but one is TS and one is CS? Clearly I do not know DTD as well as the parks.

T-Rex b/c it has a menu that appeals to everyone in our party. This is our first time going to it.

I just called, and was going to book it. But apparently the promo is only valid on round trip bookings, which would have made it $174 + tip...so $200ish. I'd rather spend that money in the parks. So, DME it is!

I would only do it if the played the DME video in the limo anyway. I love that video. :-)

Will do!

They're mostly for breakfast at 'Ohana, but I know there's a Le Cellier lunch in there, too!

You have a dozen Ohana reservations? *lol*

Can anyone tell me when confirmations get snail-mailed when a tour is booked? We have the steam trains tour booked at MK on 12/6 and my mom was wondering when should we receive a confirmation? I'm thinking it will most likely come with the Mickey Mail at the 30 day mark. Can anyone confirm this for me? Thanks!

The close by options to get while kiddos were napping were limited, we had Goods at OKW once (its pretty generic) EOS (someone got sick from it though) so it didn't leave us with many options for take out to bring back to the villa. :) There is two, the express is on the marketside and TS on the westside/pleasure island (I can't remember specifically, i can picture it but not its exact location)

I am not a big meatloaf fan, but I think wrapping it in bacon would help me enjoy it more!!! LOL Will definitely make DH get something different than me so I can try both. :thumbsup2

We did DTD once but won't go back. Not as much fun as going to a park but too much walking for an off day. We ate at Earl of Sandwich.

I don't remember getting snail mail confirmation from Wild Africa Trek. Maybe I did but I don't remember.

This won't be much help, but I'm hoping to grab a doughnut at Sweet Cakes. I think we'll probably go to DtD after eating at our food court (Landscapes of Flavor), and we have an ADR after that. I can't imaging we're spending a lot of time in DtD.

I'm thinking that we should b/c I gave them my address since my mom's mail gets mixed up with another similar address all the time.

Thanks. :goodvibes

We decided that MVMCP was a no go and are going to La Nouba instead on our last night. Do you guys think if we hit the 6:00 La Nouba that we could make it to the TTC in time for one last round of fireworks?

I think so. At least I hope so! We're doing LaNouba at 6 and rushing to the GF for a Narcoossee ADR at 9!

I know I didn't get a snail mail confirmation for my Wild Africa Trek. As far as I know you do not get any confirmation at all for tours beyond the confirmation number they give you on the phone.

Does anyone know if I need to do anything about this:

The original credit card I used to secure the vacation package has since been compromised, cancelled, and a new card reissued.

Seems that might be a problem if they ask to see the original card used to book?

Shouldn't matter. You already paid the deposit. You can provide a different card for remaining payments, room charges, etc.

Happy Monday everyone!!!

Wow! Nice, new and shiney digs here in part 3! Can't believe we're already 24 pages in!

My updates...

We're at 46 days from today, going to return both of our new Disney thermal shirts, just got approved for a new credit card, and trying to decide on something cool and grown-up to do for manfriend to include on our trip.

I was thinking of maybe lunch/dinner with an Imagineer but nothing's open right now??

Any thoughts?

Segway tour is out (too early of a start time and Epcot isn't his fave)

I'm thinking I might try and book us at Hoop Dee Do Review for dinner. Manfriend kept mentioning it when we first started thinking about where we'd eat.

So see? I'm just all over the map...

Or do I save the money and just buy him something really cool for Christmas?

ugh... so torn :rolleyes2
