I feel your urge!

I have shoulder length hair and I have to dry and flatten it everyday - something I don't want to be doing in Disney  But I don't want to be pulling it back into a ponytail every day either so I've been contemplating super short ... think Pink (the singer, not the colour) but then if I did that I would have to dye it aswell, think Pink (the colour, not the singer :p) I love to colour my hair .... I don't actually know what my natural colour is :confused3

I feel your pain. I always pull my hair up and I want to be able to do fun thing with it. I'm not brave enough for a short (pixie type) cut and at the beginning of summer I donated over 10 inches and my hair is now shoulder length. I want to keep growing it back out. Long story short I have an appt next Thurs for cut and color. I counted 6 weeks out from our trip so I could get ursine again right before we go

I need to go get my hair cut as well... I do a in between shoulder length and pixie cut :) it's been a while though... Like July  I want to hold off another 2 weeks though so I don't have to try and get it cut before Disney and thanksgiving :) I am such a slacker with my hair. I get cloth headbands and they are awesome. :)

I know the feeling. I had long, natural wavey hair with a perm/body wave in it for over 10 years before I decided to have my hair cut to right above my shoulder and go for straight hair. That was 10 years ago. This year I was getting tired of not being able to do anything with my hair so I decided to go back to a body wave. It's so much easier for me to take care of now.

I feel your urge!

Right now mine is just below my collar bone. I have cut it several times and it does grow pretty fast, so if I hated it, it wouldn't be a horribly long time until it grew out. The shortest I have had it was an inch below my ears. I really want to go that short, maybe a little shorter. The probably is I have fine hair, so I worry a short cut would be a bad idea. I straighten my hair every day. I have natually wavy hair that doesn't like to cooperate :rotfl: which is why I staighten it.

I know this is about 60 pages later than it was first discussed but I ordered a couple of those cool thermal shirts from the Disney site yesterday. :)

Hooray! The enablers on this forum score another "win" :)

I just washed ours today. They are WAY softer once they go through the dryer!

My sister has REALLY fine hair, and surprisingly when she keeps it shorter (just to her ears) it actually looks a lot thicker than when she's let it grow out.

My current hair dilemma is that I've developed a horrid allergy to hair dye. Do you have any clue how much every freaking gray hair shows when your natural color is black??? Don't suppose anyone knows of any natural hair dye options? I had stoically thought I'd just let the gray hair win the war, but now that its actually growing out I don't know that I can tolerate that after all!

My gosh I can't keep up!

Hi everyone. DH and I spent all weekend fixing up our house and possibly getting it ready to put on the market-there is a possibility of moving soon or not until spring. It is a sellers market right now and we may move closer into Sacramento and near my sons next school.

We also celebrated our 13 year anniversary.

Also Go SF Giants!

No Disney news other than deciding to cancel Coral Reef-Somehow eating fish while watching fish is turning me off. I think we may go for a drink.

44 days!

We celebrate our 13th anniversary tomorrow!

I'm trying to catch up, i have been reading for 2 hours and only on page 18 ( slow reader) i will try to finish tomorrow but i have to sleep. Hope all is well with everyone.

In other news i booked our May trip today.

Does anyone know how this will work? I know we'll have some oop expenses (like glasses of wine, tips, etc)......I wanted to get a bunch of WDW gift cards and apply them to my account once we get to WDW. How does that all work? Could I NOT leave my cc info? I don't want any of that stuff charged on my cc, I prefer to use the gift cards so they will all be paid as we incur the extra charges, plus I'll get them at Target and use my Red card which will give me 5% off. Has anyone done anything like this before?

When you charge to your KTTW card, they do not pass every charge through to your cc. They do it at the end of your stay or periodically if you hit certain limits. So if you had a positive balance on your account, when they reconcile any debits would be subtracted from your balance before going to your cc. Having said that, they might have a general policy requiring a cc attached to the account in order to turn on charging. But as long as you kept track of what you spent and didn't go over your balance I think it would be fine,

I've always wanted to try Kouzzina for breakfast......Boardwalk is pretty close to DHS. Or what about the Cape May at Beach Club? That way you can still have a character meal?

I have Cape May scheduled for DS and I while DH and DSis do the Segway tour. If they do the tour. I cancelled it for Plan A. I'm sure my in-laws would have loved it but with FIL's injury, probably not a good idea.

Are you doing it yourself or going to a salon? My stylist started me on a new product. Not sure what's in it but he got it for a sensitive client and it doesn't have that horrible chemical smell. I like it because the color is so natural. I can ask him the brand.

My friend that does my hair gets vegetable based dyes when she does semi-permanent color. Maybe that's an option?

Woot! I order our PP+ next payday :)

Mine when I get it cut is about around my ears, lots of layers... I loved going short again because my hair is so wavy as well. I put a little product in it use a diffuser and go. I used to straighten my hair but just not into that anymore. Or the work involved!

Lucky you! I really don't know when my next trip will be. BF and I want to go back for Halloween, but he doesn't have a long enough fall break for that to happen. Looks like at least 2 more years before a Halloween trip. I'm trying to get my Mom to commit to a girls trip.

At my co op we have a few brands of natural dyes. I don't know the names because I don't use them (usually get it done by a stylist) however, I bet if you went to a whole foods or natural food store you could find it. Do you know what you are allergic to in the dye?
