We still have power here. It flickered a few times though. My BIL is near PhoenixStrength and he lost it a couple hours ago.

The wind actually seemed to die down a bit for us but its blowing pretty hard now. We lose power frequently and we're always the last to get it back. So I'm not particularly optimistic. But I'm happy to have it while it lasts.

Glad you're ok ... and hope you don't lose your power!

I'm going to try to sleep now, if I can since the wind is deafeningly loud now. To everyone in it's path, stay safe! I'm still reading about people in my area trying to drive and getting in bad accidents. Stay inside and wait it out!

I love my little Nikon Coolpix Point & Shoot - it is easy to use, has nice features, comes in cool colours and is tiny! I got mine for about $100-$120 if I remember rightly.

Awesome! The one I have just produces not so focused photos and it is driving me nuts. My cell isn't much better even though it is an Iphone! (I had a few friends say their Iphone camera was great, mine not so much). Considering doing a trip report so I want good pics.

No power in the dorms here in Cleveland...a lot of the freshman girls are acting like little kiddies, lol.

But they still haven't cancelled classes yet. Over 250 schools in the county are closed, including all of Cleveland Public Schools, but none of the four major colleges have cancelled class yet. *rolls eyes*

We have a Canon PowerShot and it works great! Packs a lot of features in a small camera. They are a bit more ($150), but we bought ours on sale for for $100, so hopefully you can find one or a similar camera in your budget. Here's one on Amazon:

So yesteray I booked the CP package with Trace Adkins (DD is a fan) and the fantasmic dinner package! So excited! In 20 trips this will be the first time we have done either! Heck this will be a trip of many firsts!

First time in Dec, first time seeing Osborne Lights, first time seeing new Fantasyland, first time first time seing new test track, first time staying POR in AB, first time eating at LTT..lol Im so exicted now if the crowds will just cooperate!

I'm really thinking about all of our DIS friends that are being affected by Sandy. I've been watching TWC and the images are just unreal I really hope you are all safe and there was not too much damage in your areas!!!

Not only does that Disney transportation map look awesome, but it's super useful! I kept getting confused about the monorails/ttc/express/resort etc etc.
