2. What do you have done?All my reservations (air, hotel, car, dining, special events, babysitting), ordering tickets for everything and groceries, ordering gift cards and DDRD card, and spreadsheets and touring plans galore!
3. What do you have remaining to do?Book an airboat ride, figure out the details on how we're getting from points A to B within the World, and PACK!
4. Are you decorating your hotel room?Nope, I'm hoping we'll be up high in BLT where no one will notice our undecorated-ness, and standard view at BWV no one will see our windows either ...
5. Any outstanding ADRs you are hoping to snatch up?I want to move my 7:05 Garden Grill to 5 or 6p, but I don' think its going to happen even though I keep checking ...
6. Are there any last minute trip decisions you are still pondering? (i.e. attending MVMCP, ungrading/downgrading)Still toying with the idea of dessert party, though leaning against it and hoping it will sell out so I don't have a choice.
I got assigned an "upgraded" stateroom on our cruise on the 2nd deck, even though I wanted a lower category that I booked on the 7th/8th deck, so I'm contemplating upgrading to a higher category to make sure I'm not on the 2nd deck but will probably just try at port so it'll be cheaper.
Plus, still trying to talk DH into a Ft Wilderness wagon ride.
7. How do you feel right now? (Excited? Overwhelmed? Stressed? All planned out? "Meh"? In a planning frenzy? Festive? Confused? Dorky?)I really want to be super excited with this two-years-in-the-planning-trip, but since I keep going to interviews and not getting selected for jobs real life is kind of depressing me. In my field, getting to the final interview is supposedly like winning the lottery (they usually pick three out of ~60 people for these positions to interview), but its frustrated to go to so many and just get passed over.Hopefully once I'm on the plane the gloom will lift.

Disney definitely should sell naughty baskets!! I mean, they sell Trojans in the gift shops, they know what's going on in some of the guest rooms!
They officially announced they're building more villas at the Grand Floridian, should start selling in fall 2013.

This is one of the big reasons I want to go OOP ... because I know if I was on the DDP the whole trip I'd want to maximize it by eating all the expensive stuff and gain way too much weight!I obsess over my google docs spreadsheet! I also made a little excel spreadsheet with estimated meals costs and tips (we're doing the DxDDP, which really forces you to order the most expensive thing on the menu, thus increasing your tip)! Dh and I went through the menus and picked what we thought we would like to eat.....and at R&C he wanted Fish & Chips.....which are $18 for lunch....and I'm like, "that isn't expensive enough"!This is a dumb thought on my part, though......people should order what they want to eat, not necessarily the most expensive thing on the menu! Am I alone with this thought process?

Question: I printed out some mousekeeping envelopes from Terri's links in the part 3 thread. Are they supposed to be so small or did I do something wrong. I thought they would be envelope size, or at least dollar bill size.

I'm going to look on the family board but does anyone have a handy link for suggested projects kids can do related to Disney? Dd7 is in 2nd grade and will miss a week of school. Her teacher and principal have ok'd the absence and, even though they are not requiring it, I would feel better if we did a little work. I'm going to make/buy her a cute journal so she can journal about her trip. Plus, I think it will be cute to look back in ten years and see the magic of Disney through the eyes of a 7 year old!

I know it's hard out there! So what type of job are you looking for? You have a masters in Information Science right?
