Blimey - so much homework tonight! Thats always stressful as my DD doesn't respond well to homework, her attitude is she's been at school all day, why does she have to 'school' at home aswell.

HA! I love the memories you create with your kids ..... ages ago we drove passed a Hooters and DD says to me "Is that place a tool shop like Home Depot?" I'm like "No. What on earth gave you that idea"

She replies "Because I remember you saying it was full of tools"

So true. This happens all the time - when my trip is close I think my goodness, so many complaints, am I going to have a good time? I think that so many people focus on little (to me) things that the big picture gets lost some times. Hey I'm just glad to be off work and on vacation with my family!

So true. This happens all the time - when my trip is close I think my goodness, so many complaints, am I going to have a good time? I think that so many people focus on little (to me) things that the big picture gets lost some times. Hey I'm just glad to be off work and on vacation with my family!

I always take the complaints with a huge pinch of salt because tbh, I am yet to see a real complaint. None of them really impact your vacay.

I thought about doing that same package.......was it astronomical? How much notice is needed if I wanted to order it for our Dec 9th arrival?

I tweaked the package that had the cheese and crackers in it. I really wanted the DVC Wishes package but we aren't DVC members.

The package contains: 2 toasting flutes, cheese, crackers, chocolate, a Mickey head shaped tray and is $66. The bottle of Asti is $18.95. I added the Sweet on You chocolate box at $18.95 and added a Mickey head bottle stopper at $10.95. I had them take out the cheese ($6.95) and the crackers ($3.95). My total with tax and delivery was $120.00

They have other wine/champagne options and even sparkling cider. The champagne they use for weddings is $34.95/bottle. And the even have Dom if you wanted to spend the $$. The non-alcoholic bottle is $10. I think she told me they have chardonnay, cab, merlot, pinot grigio and something else.

We're arriving 12/10. I ordered yesterday, not sure what they need in the way of lead time.

I was going to do a custom cake but we have DxDP so we will already have so much food.

Morning everyone. Today starts the busyness for us and it won't stop until we leave. DS6 was just invited to a birthday party the day before we leave. So not only does he have basketball from 9 - 1030 am but now has a party from 2-4pm. We are still debating if he'll go just because we were going to take them to do something special (no idea what yet) since we are leaving the next day. I guess if we are going to take them somewhere close we could do it after the party? I don't want him to miss out on the party either though. Ugh, decisions.

Today is quite chilly, I actually had to turn up the heat this morning. My kids woke up and sat still for about an hour and the antics have now started. Thy are using Thomas track as swords, aaaah!
