DH and I just finished watching Once Upon a Time. Now we have to wait 2 weeks before the next episode b/c of the AMA's And I just looked at the calendar and realized that is the last ep we will see before we leave for Disney - which will be 4 days later



DS just got a Bloggie yesterday from the Sony store. We had to talk about that purchase b/c we found out that they are not going to be made anymore, so I was a bit leary about getting it for him. But it's perfect for a 10 year old and he's really enjoying it.

My girls and I LOVE OUAT - but I"m glad we are an episode behind and watching then on hulu, my girls would not be happy to know there is a delay!! LOL

How's the bloggie? DD11 wants a video camera for Christmas, but I have no idea what to get her! I dont want to pay an arm and a leg, but I dont want to buy crap either. Shes fairly responsible, shes kept her ipod touch and iphone in good shape - but they do have otter boxes.

Also- Disney outlet not so good... Going to hit online later I was disappointed at first but mostly because the clearance section was barren... Also the store was so picked over crazy sales weekend. However made out good at the gap!

Well I'm pretty ticked off at myself! I had 2 sets of the MM dominoes in my cart at Disneystore dot com and today I placed an order just assuming they were still in my cart. They are gone. Sold out. Great sadness. They aren't even listed on the website anymore...does that mean they are gone forever?

Just seen the start time for this year osborne lights start at 6pm, so now I have an issue I need to see Osborne lights before fantasmic which is 6:30, hmm because I have 8:30 ADR for cape may and will be taking the boat. I'm hoping to switch my Chef Mickey dinner to breakfast the day of Hollywood studios so I dont have to leave the park at all and just have dinner at Scifi. I've never seen Osborne lights and do not want to miss it!!

Maybe do what we're doing, going just before the park shuts. The lights stay on through the night and for up to an hour after the park closes - we also have a busy schedule for our DHS night so I thought this would be our best bet.

I'm not even going to worry about it until the week before we leave. I live in an area with similar weather to FL and there is no point trying to predict Christmas until closer.

Ive had white Christmases, and I have had our Christmas dinner outside as a picnic, with 80 degrees and sunny. crazy southern weather.

Thanks! I was thinking maybe seeing it before fantasmic then some how running to fantasmic before it starts? Because I'm not sure if after if I can run to see the lights then run to my ADR at beach club. Ugh this is my only issue lol

You should line up for Fantasmic at least 60 minutes before it starts, so you'd have to be in line before Osborne lights starts. Wouldn't work to see them before.

You need layers as it could be quite warm during the day and then cold at night (you can get up to a 40degree drop). I'm bringing yoga pants (they will be kind to my waist after a meal ), t-shirts (for during the day when its warm) fleece jacket, hoodie, some long sleeve tops (just in case its cold all day).

Remember, there are lockers at each park. We are getting one each day to put our coats/jacket/hoodie in for those days when it 70 during the day and 40-50 at night. Saves us carrying them around.

DH is off to pick up a pizza and a new camera. I mentioned about a month ago that our camera kind of stinks and DH has been reading lots online since. I am OK with keeping our camera for now because we should really be saving money for the trip/Christmas gifts, but he is like a kid, once it's in his head, he has to get something. So it looks like we are getting a Cannon Powershot SX260.

I have the Cannon Powershot SX260HS, not sure what the HS means but I bet we have almost identical cameras. Mine is teal green. It isn't my "big" camera but I'm learning to use it. It does have a really nice fireworks setting.

That's a good idea. Maybe I'll attach mine to my camera bag. It's like a small backpack. Hope to see you there!!

Ok, I'm dating myself here, but I remember those being popular in the 80's when I was a teenager. I never did get to buy a pair mostly b/c at that point my mom was buying my clothes since I was not old enough to get a job yet. Glad you were able to find what you were looking for.

4 weeks from right now, we will be at the 12/9 MVMCP. Going from ride to ride. Enjoying the snow(p) on Main St. And just overall, gasping at the marvel that is the Castle lit up for Christmas.

I would go with the resort change. That way you get to experience both. Plus Disney will help you move luggage for you!

I vote for this too. You've got a car, and Disney will move your luggage, so splitting the stay wouldn't be a pain in the least. And you could think of those 2 days at a nicer resort as your prize for being so accommodating with DH's work situation.

And I wouldn't worry too much about the ADR's. once final hours are released I'm sure people will cancel and change a lot of ADRs, so I'd bet you'll end up doing well in that regard despite the last minute planning!

I'm bringing it all. Shorts, jeans, short sleeve, long sleeve, fleece jacket, yoga pants, and capris. I expect I'll be living in my capris and yoga pants.

I was going to try and be at the Osbourne Lights at first lighting then was hoping for a late Fantasmic. I'm still holding out for that one.

We're just going to take our regular camera with us. DH wants to get another one, but we just can't do it right now. I hear ya about your DH. Mine is a Techie, so of course, he has to have the latest thing that's out there Thankfully, he likes to dream and not purchase.

We watched Once Upon a Time tonight too! Such a good episode even though Emma and Snow were hardly in it. I hate when shows do that, two weeks? That's too far away!

I was going to get some lime green cardstock from the scrapbook dept and print an outline of a MH on that and carefully cut it out.
