I don't get the day off, but I work with federal government customers exclusively, so that day is very long. You do get a ton of back work done though, so that's pretty nice.

Sad news: I don't think Abby and I will start dating while we're in Disney.

Good news: We're dating now!

I wish I could say that it happened in a really special/unique/romantic way, but it was surprisingly low key. We we texting all day while I was at work, and out of the blue she texted me "how about we finally make this official? we talk all the time, we're practically dating as it is."

I actually clapped! So happy for you!

30 days! I just got asked to sub indefinitely today, so...I can say 17 work days!

I told DD's teacher about our trip today. She was fine with it, as I suspected she would be. DD is only in first grade. I told her that I hadn't told DS's teacher yet. He's in 4th grade, and they used to be co-teachers. She made a face, so I take it that my fear of DS's teacher's reaction is justified.

Oh, and the class I am in for a while is the one I mentioned last week--the, um, challenging one. A vacation at Disney World will never feel so good!

I think I would pick MVMCP. You can always ask CMs or other guests to take your picture and/or buy a really good pp picture, like you said.

It'll be our little Disecret!! Positive thoughts though that it happens for you. On my end he already knows what ring I'd like.
One of my BFFs is friends with him (she's also an ex), she just got engaged and her, I and him. ended up discussing rings. I found a gorgeous black diamond with blue diamonds on the sides. It's under $2K. I know his mom would love it but he's not the commitment type. I'm the first girl he's lived with and the first that's not an open relationship. And that's been part of the problems. Another mutual friend had commented if he had bought the ring yet and that's what prompted the he hadn't even really thought about it. So.. I don't see the ring (or proposal) coming anytime in the future.

24 days tomorrow before our trip and today I booked a trip for next year. Omg, Disney junkie!!! DH and I thought we would not go next year and wait until 2014 but after reading disboards I got a bug to camp at Fort Wilderness. So I booked Oct 4-13, 2013 today. This will be me and dds first time staying in the world. DH stayed at GF as a kid.

We are planning on tent, but if I can swing it I'm renting a pop up camper.

We are going to surprise kids, just tell them we're camping in FL which we did last winter (we live in ATL) so we are not telling anyone so they don't slip up. I can't wait to drive under the sign and here them freaking out!!

We are going to do this trip completely different then we have before. 9 day tickets, with water Parks (never been), park Hopper (F&W). Very few ADRs so we can just wake up and go how ever we want.

I'm hoping this is a start of a yearly family tradition.

Hi, everyone! I'd like to add my name to the list. DH and I will be arriving on 12/10 and leaving on 12/15 - without the kids!!! We're staying at CSR and it will be our first vacation alone since before my oldest was born, over 13 years ago. We're excited!

It's also our first time in December, which is one of the reasons I booked this trip. I've always wanted to see the Christmas decorations and it's my birthday week. Yay!

We're planning to go to MVMCP on the 13th, although I haven't bought the tickets yet. I'm trying to hold off until closer to see what the weather will be like. I just hope it doesn't sell out before I purchase tickets. We're also thinking about doing one of the holiday tours, but we haven't confirmed that yet.

I'm sure we'll see some of y'all there!

OMG. I have actually had to work today!!!! This whole week is going to be like that. It's just not right.

It kills me every day......I rarely have time to take a 30 minute break at work, much less be able to DIS. I have a hard time keeping up during the day!

Great that we have the twitter post on here now, I knew that we had it with our Facebook group but I know not everyone is on there.

I have some question if anybody knows feel free to chime in:
What is the money limit on the kttk card before your credit card gets charged?
If I would like to put some giftcards on the kttk card is it better to do it in the beginning that way the limit is how much credit I put on?

I plan on doing the same but I don't want to get more WDW gift cards than I will spend...which is such a laughable concept. I don't want to use my cc if I don't have to.

I'm safely home. Went to the grocery got the necessities including ice cream.

I took a nap with my microwave heating pads to get warm and now I'm in my bunny feetie jammies (love that Target now carry these!) covered with two blankets on the couch. I'll probably work from home tomorrow.

It's kinda pretty, but it was getting slippery out there when I got off the bus.

Completely agree with family vacation coming first... my thoughts were more along the line of yes, proposal for me does indeed mean jewelry

But in all honesty, for as much as I love my DBF, he's not someone who thinks along the lines of "hey, wouldn't it be amazing to pop the question to her at WDW during our trip?" he's just not that kind of planner/thinker...

When it's meant to be, blah, blah, blah... hahahah

What a great way to throw you off by planning something. Maybe not, but wouldn't it be fantastic!!
