Congratulations!



Spa treatments sound vrey tempting, especially with a discount, but I have so much I want to see, do, and taste that I am not sure I want to take a time out for the spa. Maybe I can squeeze in a massage after the trip.

Its very relaxing... Very nice... Very close to the DVC SSR selling area

Also - I felt so good being pampered that it really added to vacation

Sad news: I don't think Abby and I will start dating while we're in Disney.

Good news: We're dating now!

I wish I could say that it happened in a really special/unique/romantic way, but it was surprisingly low key. We we texting all day while I was at work, and out of the blue she texted me "how about we finally make this official? we talk all the time, we're practically dating as it is."

Yay! Happy dance!

And now you can tell her you're safe from some horribly embarrassing romance intervention by your DIS friends. Probably.

I have changed our reservation AGAIN. Planning this trip is going to be the death of me. Serves me right for planning a last minute DVC trip over XMAS!!!!

What did you change your reservation to? Do tell!

I always want to have a massage but can't seem to carve out time away from the parks and restaurants, so this time we're definitely getting at least foot massages when we're on the cruise. Someone on the DIS DCL board told me it was $50 for 25 minutes ... I'm hoping they'll run a port 20/20/20 special, so I can get my feet, back, and scalp massaged for 20 minutes each for $99. That would be for me.

Updated to add: Wow, I can't believe its slightly cheaper on DCL than it is at the spas at the resorts!

There id a 20% discount for services over 50 min with you DVC membership.... I plan on a pedicure (50 min) and a facial (70 min?) during naptimes....

14 office work days with another 3 that I'll be working as a sitter with no office hours that day (including Thanksgiving Day ) for 17 work days total.

Our reservation is a little messy at the moment. We check into AKV Jambo on Dec 25. We are in a Value studio until the 29th when we move into a standard, then BACK into a Value for the 31st. We check out Jan 1 and are staying for 2 nights at Best Western Lake Buena Vista on DH's Best Western points. We check into OKW on Jan 3 until Jan 6 when we head home. Like I said - MESSY. But still I am okay with messy

I am still checking DVC constantly to make it work out better. One step at a time!
