Yeah now way I can catch up the past few days! WDW is great though! Currently sitting at the contemporary getting a snack after MVMCP.

Having so much fun even though I feel like junk still... I think DH owes me another vacation after getting me sick!!

I did these on my embroidery machine. Yes they are applique.. Best place to get embroidery designs is froufroubyheathersue..... She's a diser with great designs.. i am doing my tie Dye shirts next weekend. 8 of them. I have done tie Dye before but I think I want to try the Mickey head tie Dye this time around. I I can't wait to see how yours turned out!

At POR now. Called 8844 this morning as we have not seen a BB flyer in the room. Was told the new offer available is a room discount good Jan. 2- Dec. 15, 2013, with numerous blackout dates. Tried to get a flyer from Concierge but they didn't have any available yet. The CM I spoke to was a bit confusing with what dates were blacked out, so I don't want to post any false info here. If I get more info tomorrow I will post.

Confirmed with CM on phone and Concierge that FD offer for Aug/Sept has expired.

I will follow-up when Im there re: Oct.

Do you pack your cameras in a carry on suitcase? I think I'll pack my big one in my Case Logic case and throw it in our empty carry on....along with my laptop and laptop case. I won't need to get into either one while on the plane. I do like to take pictures from the airplane window but I'll use my small camera for that and throw it in my purse.

Your garland! I need to see a picture of that. I had good intentions but never got around to making one.....I think I have some greenery around here that isn't being used currently. I could add some Mickey Heads to that but then I'm not sure where I'd put it. We're in a moderate resort and I've never been to POR before. I am bringing a strand of lights and some 3M Command hooks for the window (although we could very likely have a corner room in which case I'll have to stretch the lights)....

My personal item is my big LowePro camera bag. Long story about how I bought the Classified Sling and the strap broke. I think maybe they don't make that anymore? Because they sent me the Slingshot bag to try. So trying a new bag on the trip. Not what I carry in the park though. I have a LowePro Top Loader with chest harness for that.

Here's the garland. I bought it at Michaels, I think. I added the Mickey Heads. Finished last night while we watched The Avengers.

I once asked my employer for 2 weeks off to go to Disneyland/San Diego/Vegas and I had only been actually working there for 2 weeks! I'm pretty persuasive so I managed to talk him into letting me have the time off.

Perhaps it's because I was a contractor for 18 years but even now, I don't ask permission for vacation. I just tell them when I'm going. If they had an issue, I guess they'd let me know but I've never had anyone have an issue. And I've more than once, started a new contract with a vacation looming. Once they asked me to wait until after I came back, but that was like one week after my proposed start date so it just made sense.

So I have to admit Im sitting on the bathroom floor with my iPad, trying not to wake anyone else.

Got a great night's sleep compared to usual before a trip. Woke up at 6 and didn't even try to go back to sleep. We leave the house at 8:30 to drop off the puppy and head to the airport. Flight leaves at noon.

I'm excited but calm. I feel way more prepared than I usually do. Though of course my head is playing the "what did I forget" game.

Hi all! We arrived yesterday. Great flight, waited over an hour for Magical Express. Arrived at Beach Club-the place is absolutely beautiful. Went to Epcot-did Ellen's Energy Adventure and Spaceship Earth. Had a wonderful experience at Teppan Edo-food was great and so was chef. Then the kids wanted to do Stormalong Bay-they had whole thing to themselves practically. Pennsylvania kids are hearty--lol. Off to DHS shortly. Oh and weather is perfect.

Excited but, calm is a great feeling to have before a vacation...you're ready!!! Hope you have a great trip! I hope you can post...I check in all throughout the day and always see your posts...it will be strangely quiet here, if you're missing. Understable though, if you can't. Have a blast...and I hope you're not still sitting on the bathroom floor.

Good Morning!!

Have a safe trip, Tltorrez! And to everyone already there-lucky you!!

10 days to go. I did online check in this morning but ended up having to call anyways for the room request. I know I probably should have made the request when I initially booked it, but I didn't. It's not the end of the world if we get the room farthest from the buses. Life goes on

I did a few trip-prep things this weekend, including getting the car's oil changed.

I'm swamped at work. They know I'm going on vacation but still assigned me a priority assignment on Friday. I'm trying not to freak out about it all but it's hard not to. The next 10 days will just be chaos and what gets done, gets done.
