I kept the reservation numbers in a spreadsheet in my phone, I also kept them printed out just in case. Only time I used the spreadsheet was when I decided to cancel one. The rest of the time they had my name and it all went smoothly.

I created a folder and email in iCloud for all my disney stuff - I was virtually paperless this trip! I think it is easy to do with gmail as well... I didn't need to have it for any of my ADR's but was comforting to have just in case...

Ok you are going to get the stock CD and the promo code to redeem a CD or download of your 156 pics. The stock CD is a gallery if WDW and has all sorts of shots from the parks.

Once you get your CD and promo code you will go online and order a CD (or download) of your PP photos. Once you enter the code in it will credit you the charge of the CD and shipping.

Does that make sense? It's an odd process and I was confused at first. I emailed them for help hehe...

No, the stock CD is one with lots of generic pictures on it that Disney took. When you order the CD with your pictures it will come separately.

and another one bites the dust.... and another one.....now the youngest has the cough as well as dh. Only ones left are me and my 8 year old. It's nothing more than a hacking cough but still.....it's no fun. Not how I wanted to spend my last two days! I still need to finish packing. I have most everything layed out, just need to get it into suitcases. I put the sewing machines away last night and now I have a kitchen table again. All shirts are sewn and I just have to wash out the tie dye shirts this evening and pack them all up in their bags. I'll take pics before I pack them up. 2 days!!!! I can't wait! Oh, and my inlaws are on their way here! yeah!!! They left yesterday and should be here this evening. The girls don't yet. They are going to be surprised when they show up a day early.

I started having a bit of a cough as well as the post nasal drip due to my allergies right before our trip. I immediately picked up Mucinex and started taking it (my doctor told me to take it a few years ago). Even brought it with me and took it while down there. It definitely helped and kept it from exploding into an upper respiratory (sp?) which, with me, is what I get everytime. They do make a children's version of it.

I brought some cold/cough stuff, but it is not working. Left the party right after the fireworks, so missed the parade and didnt meet Jordan and Abby. I just felt lousy and sounded like Roz. Went to Hollywood for a couple hours this morning and DH said we were leaving before he had to carry me out of the park. So we gave away TSMM fastpasses, got into Sci Fi early and left the park at 12. Going back around 4:30. I told DH if I dont get better quick, I need a do over trip.

I know exactly why your sick, the stress if not knowing when your trip was going to be! DH owes you a do over trip... I was really sick down there (no voice first 2 days, hacking up nastiness, insane sinus pressure) I ended up with Advil cold and sinus and then alternating advil and Tylenol... I would take chestal honey at night. It seemed to mask my symptoms for me to stay out until 12-1am then I paid for it after vacation... I discovered this mix around day 3. Hehe

Ok... I just went from the 100-teens to the 140's. I think my eyes are gonna start bleeding. Anyhoo... I'll see if I can consolidate my multi-quotes as much as possible.

Quick recap of MVMCP (12/9) and our day today:
Highlights of MVMCP:
DD's CRT birthday dinner. Our server, Nabil, was wonderful. We added on the HRH package. He brought her tiara out on a pillow and had me crown her. The cake was more than enough for 8 people. Of course, I cut very small pieces because we were all stuffed from our dinner! Snow White was the only princess to give any attention to my baby niece. The other princesses ignored her completely. Ariel had the best interaction with my daughter, though.
Enchanted Tales with Belle. The posted wait time was 40 minutes, but the CM said it was more like 25. The line moved very quickly. DS was picked to play Beast! It was priceless.
Fireworks. We were standing beside the carousel. Fireworks were going off all around us!
Space Ranger Spin. DS got 500,000 points!

Lows of Christmas
BIL and SIL did not buy party tickets, so had to be escorted out after our CRT dinner. MIL and FIL had party tickets, but decided to walk out with them. They waited 45 minutes for an escort! People were irate, for good reason. Disney will be receiving quite a few letters about that (there were 3 other families waiting with them).
My children, who were still running circles at midnight after the MNSSHP three years ago, could not stay awake. DS fell asleep on the sidewalk while waiting for the 10:30 parade. They were tired and whiny.

We were that night. We stayed mostly by Frontier Land/Liberty Sqr area and then checked out the Fantasy Land expansion after the 2nd parade. Dumbo with the water and lights was pretty cool.

We were all sick on vacation.... It didn't slow us down too much. I was medicating myself with Advil cold & sinus and my kids did much better with honey chestal (which I read from someone on here) I will also add the humidity in fl helped us since we are far north and the dryness from heating and winter.... Here's to hoping she gets better and doesn't pass it along!!

BDLsgal was under the weather for a few days during our trip. Then BDLslil started getting sick towards the end and is now really under weather.

Plan another trip ASAP! That's the only known cure for PDD!!!

371 days!!

Many of you have read my plans to take my DD next year at Christmas time to celebrate her 15th birthday... She turns 15 in September but wants Disney at Christmas as her celebration rather than her quincenera - which is fine by me! I'd love to go sooner in December rather than so close to Christmas but with school, we really have no choice on dates (they'll miss one day as it stands)... oh well, still super excited!

(is this trip set in stone, no - but I needed to put it out there so I can curb some of the PDD and also realize, it's right around the corner)

Mine is 299 days... Set in stone yet nope... Lets say the concrete is setting? I am hoping for a 3 or 4 night food & wine trip in October, to celebrate our anniversary. My plan is to fly out Sunday AM (after MIL comes over on Saturday) and fly back Wed or Thursday evening, then it leaves us with a few days with MIL as well.

PDD is setting in... I am trying to keep it away by trying to make a photobook... I REALLY love the disney ones, the backgrounds are so great, however, the site is being a pain and I think I am just going to go to another site and spend a lot less.... I know it almost sounds practical!!!

P.S. we started planning out next trip on the way home. We're aiming for Jan 2014 because my oldest wants to go for his birthday!

We are doing a jan 14 trip as well with our girls! We would do December again but my sister wants to go Dec 14 as well and we will get AP to help save a few $$$....

I am so with you on the weather. NH is cold and nasty. We are definitely going south, we decided sitting inside in AC during the super humid days will be more fun than sitting inside during the freezing cold days....

Ok... So me and BDLsgal were not insane or obsessed to be start planning our 2014 Disney trip by day 6. That's a relief.

By the way, we are teetering on December again, or that sweet spot week where Food & Wine fest leads into MVMCP.

I called Disney's PhotoPass department back today. Per their instructions, I had to go onto the PhotoPass web site and log in and go to the help section. Once there I had to go to the "Missing Photos" area and fill in the information (including our PhotoPass+ card #) and attach a scanned copy of the credit card receipt showing that we did in deed pay for the PhotoPass+ card. Once they receive it, they will call over to DHS to get some more info.

When I spoke with the person on the phone, I explained that we upgraded from the Attractions+ card to the PhotoPass+ card at DHS. We were the last customers before closing and they weren't too sure on how to do it. None of us recall getting anything that resembled a CD case with a promo code in it. All we got was the laynard with the card and the credit card receipt. Hopefully, everything will be sorted out and we can get the promo code in order to get the CD.

I'm probably going to have to go through this ordeal too. Some how, Disney misplaced out PP+ package when it was shipped to the resort. We got 1 of those red cards too. On our next to last day, after multiple stops at the front desk at POR and at Photo Centers at the parks, it was there.

Boo! However all that walking in Disney is going to help!!

I actually lost 4 lbs at Disney. 85+* days + 7 to 10 miles of walking + a 30 to 40 lbs back pack = weight loss. Who knew?

I agree with the flow as well... I bet once the mine train is open it helps tremendously. I really wanted to meet Gaston - hehe DH didn't want us to- he thought he was acting to jerky... However he did enjoy a pork shank!

I'm definitely gonna try the pork shank next time. I just had my 1st turkey leg this trip.

Yeah it seems the Dec group has the gift that keeping a on giving... Lots of germs!!

I started talking to DH about future trips prior hehe... However buying APs basically has it set to happen.. I can't wait for the 7 month window to book looking at exploring another DVC resort!

F&W sounds like so my speed - I'm such a snacker and like to eat bits here and there that vacation I will probably put on some lbs!!

DH liked the pork shank better than the turkey leg. Even my picky 3 yo enjoyed tastes of it!!

I couldn't read the 70 pages - I tried just couldn't do it! I give you credit for reading so much!!!

Def. take them with you just in case. The one time I needed it, I didn't have it and had to call from the park gate and get it. Stressful!

Ugh! Hope everyone who is under the weather gets better soon! We just got back to the room from Epcot. The CP was OMG Freaking AMAZING!!! My sister was even crying! I have now been up for 19 hours straight and for a while it didn't look like we were going to make it down here without a delay, but we did and I will save all the details for a trip report. We will be off to MK for morning EMH tomorrow!

Well it's the flu. the upside is that I got her in soon enough to take tamiflu, the downside is that there isn't much more that they can do, it just has to run its course. I feel awful for her! Just gonna get her to rest and push fluids and hope the tamiflu works. Could use some pixiedust.
