Me-18 years old, total Disney fanatic. Planned this trip completely. A high school senior hoping for the best trip ever, before heading to college in the fall
Mom-likes Disney a lot, but not as much as me. Will become bag lady at times.
Stepdad-swears he is a Disney fanatic, but hasn't convinced me yet
Laura-my sister, 14 years old. Thinks every vacation should be a week on a tropical beach. Isn't exactly a Disney fan
Allison-my stepsister. 13. Can't really figure out what she thinks of Disney.

Also a note. When we left Disney in 2002, my stepdad’s attitude was that we’d seen Disney, so we wouldn’t be returning anytime soon. Something about only going to Universal (yuck) in 2004, though knocked him into his senses. He and mom bought DVC sight unseen, and we began planning our return. I however, had already been planning, because mom had said we could go back if that’s where I wanted to go for my graduation trip.

Just before the alarm clock starts blaring I'm woken up by my stepdad SINGING "I'm on vacation, I'm going to Disney". Look down the stairs. He has his neon green tropical shirt on and is dancing. Oyy this could be a long day. At that moment the radio alarm turns on, with the weather. It's a whopping 40 degrees outside and we're expecting rain all day. Excellent. Super flying conditions. But I remind myself not to think about what happened the last time we flew out of Boston in the rain, and that that night I'll be falling asleep in Disney. With that thought I get dressed, throw the last few items into the suitcase, and haul that elephant down the stairs. But just as I'm thinking my suitcase is a monster, I realize that Laura has far outdone me in the packing category. Her suitcase, bigger than mine to start, is completely stuffed, and we haven't even bought souvineers yet We later discovered at the airport that it weighed 30 pounds. Good thing it had wheels.
It's only about a half an hour after I got woken up but I'm already feeling exhaustion hitting me. I should now tell you that I had been up until 1 that morning, packing and finishing my psychology paper, which was (rudely) due the day we went back to school from vacation, which was the morning after our return from WDW.
Just as I finish hauling my luggage down to the entry way, which resembles the baggage claim at an airport at this point (5 people = lots of luggage) my cell phone starts ringing. It's dad, who returned from Pennsylvania the night before, "Come over quick cuz I need to run an errand before the guys get here to hang cabinets". OK dad, we're on our way. So we go to dad's, socialize for about 20 minutes, turn over the mail we've been collecting for him, and head back to mom's, ready to leave. Only problem, it's another 2 hours before Flightline (van service) is coming to bring us to Boston. So what else do I do? I turn to the DIS for a little entertainment, to keep my mind off the wait, and to make me more excited.

Next up: Part 2-Not Boston!!
