I'm booking a night and parking for 8 days in Detroit. Looking at PSF it says the Fairfield Inn is $99/night. The same room direct from Marriott is $119. Is this too good to be true?? I've never booked with them.

Try the Westin ant McNamara terminal at the Detroit airport. Hotel is connected to the Delta terminal and they have great park n fly rates with valet parking. The really good rates are only available if you are flying out on weekends. It is a beautiful hotel.

My concern would be leaving my brand new car there with the key and them knowing I wouldn't be back to get it for a week...lol

Do you know how long it takes to get through their private security entrance? I see it doesn't open until 7:45 and our flight leaves at 8:25 (Delta). Wouldn't this be cutting it too close?

I see that you know about this entrance...Problem is that lots of other travellers who are not staying at the hotel know and use this one also. In all our times of staying there, we used the main station. It takes five extra minutes to get there. We have used it for 10 a.m. flights and it is quite handy.
