Parks will not open on Monday (email to Cast Members)

I'm in awe of the way Disney handles any situation, all the way to a hurricane. I'd rather be at a Disney resort in a hurricane, than at home in perfect weather! I liked in the OP's email how it stated CM's could get free childcare -- surely there's not enough room in those clubs to accomodate all the kids, but it's a nice gesture nonetheless. It must be tough to strike a balance between keeping the resort guests happy but also keeping the CM's safe and happy.

For anyone reading this who is working at WDW through a hurricane, you are magical.
And for those of you who are visiting WDW through a hurricane and keep in mind how much those CM's would rather be safely at home with their families and treat them accordingly, you're magical too.

Magic Kingdom, Epcot and DTD are now open. The other parks are still closed.

Magic Kingdom Park 1:00 p.m. - 12 midnight
Epcot 1:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.
Downtown Disney 1:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.

Is it open just for resort guests? My p arents are down ther now and I know more than they do thanks to all of you in DIS! :cheer2:

We weren't told one way or the other whether it was open to resort guests, but since we're on site we probably don't need to know. That said, when we went to Epcot about 1:15, we weren't asked for a room key. Perhaps they're checking at the parking entrances? Or maybe it was just a rumor.
