Hi Guys,

Right, so there's the two of us going to Disney for two weeks in Sept 2012 and we are staying at the Dolphin.

We have the 14 day ultimate tickets for Disney already as I got them at a fairly bargainous price.

However, we're definitely going to want to go to the 2 Universal parks and Seaworld whilst we're there. Maybe once to each universal park and twice to seaworld? I've been looking at the tickets and it doesn't seem that the flex ticket which would get us in for all 14 days (if I'm reading this right) is *that* much more expensive than buying tickets just for the 4 days, plus for that little bit extra, we'd have the flexibility to go wherever we want each day?

Am I missing something? What would you do?

2 day Uni tix (1 day in each park, no hopping) around £78
1 day & 1 free at SW approx £48
Total £126

Flex tix are around £160 but also incl Aquatica and Wet ‘n Wild

Other options are
14 day Uni/IOA around £88
1 day & 1 free SW £48
Total £136.

Price difference between 1/2 day tix and 14 days is usuallly small same as the jump from 14 days to AP's, we pay £100/year for Uni/IOA & £76/year for both SW & Busch.

These prices are this year, not looked at next year yet, I never buy tix til close to leaving.

hi im trying to work out tickets prices for everywhere i want to go too i spent all day looking at them yesterday...

how much did yoou get 14 day disney for?

Would you really need a 14 ticket to Universal? I would suspect that as you have a Disney 14 day ticket that you will prob do far more days there anyway. We are going Sept next year as well and have been at this time before and really if you have done Universal Resort before you can do it no prob in two days, we have managed it in one before now!!! Seaworld one day tickets, you normally get in free for another day. Again if you arrive early Seaworld is easily done, if you plan the show times, in one day. I suppose it just depends whether you would get value from the flex ticket by taking in Aquatica etc..Personally I would buy them individually if its just Universal Resort and Seaworld you're after.:)

Thanks guys. I think I'll go back and look at the figures again and give serious consideration to buying the more limited tickets. I can live with planning the non-Disneyworld days more carefully if it save me money! :goodvibes
