Parks in November

How is it Thanksgiving week?
Is it terribly busy?
I've been in October and May. Is there much of a difference?

We went 11/15-11/25 last year. For the first 6 days it was as if we'd died and gone to Disney heaven. It wasn't like a ghost town, but we never waited more than 5 minutes for anything including the big rides. As soon as the 21st hit we started seeing the crowds roll in. NOW maybe we got spoiled in those 1st 6 days, but we have vowed to never go the week of Thanksgiving. There were 45 minute waits for RNRC and well over and hour for SPace mountain. We left 2 days before Turkey day and for this fall, our trip will only include the week prior to Thanksgiving week. BTW my DH told me to NOT post this info, thinking that maybe we'll get lucky again , but that just wouldn't be fair to the many who have helped us!!

It's nice to hear how low the crowds were before The week of Thanksgiving. We are going November 16-21 and Thanksgiving is the 25th so we are hoping that it won't get busy until after we leave. I have never gone at this time before. I did go the day after Thanksgiving one year and that was a great time.
