DING DING DING!!!! We have a winner!

Since there were three people contributing to the answer on this one, I guess AAQ cards are in order for Jwill, Granny, and Ozzel. Bill Nye is the narrator in the Dinosaur queue area, he is in Ellen's Energy Adventure, and he tells you how to build your cybercoaster in DisneyQuest's CyberSpace Mountain.

And in the interest of putting this languishing question out of its misery, I'll come clean on the bonus question. Bill Nye was also the narrator in the Countdown to Extinction queue area. (Hey, I told ya it was a trick question!)

Now that my Bill Nye question has been put to rest, let me ask a question on a point of protocol. Is it considered bad form to venture outside the four main parks and ask questions about resorts, water parks, DD, or other WDW areas? Personally I like the idea of having the game roam all over the World. But that's a newbie opinion for you. So what about it, old-timers?

Ocean,

I'm just a newbie myself, but it is my understanding that it's not necessarily a rule of the game, but the fact that this thread is about theme park attractions and strategies, and if we stray from that, the moderators will shut us down.

And on that note, I'll throw out a softball Where in the world would you hear "It's raining, it's pouring."?

Oh, I know that one. It's one of my favorite preshows. The little girl is saying it on the ToT.

Btw, since we were talking about Bill Nye. He happens to be a Cornell grad, where my son goes to school and plays for the Ultimate Frisbee team. Bill Nye was also on the team at one time and when he visited the school last year, he practised with them. I was going to use that as a question (What is Bill Nye the Science guy's favorite sport), but there's nothing in the world that would tell you that.

Well that was fast gometros. Yes, it is the little girl in the Tower of Terror.

Kim...is the "Art of Disney" building the old Sun Bank building????

My ABSOLUTE favourite question from all 3 thread's was Higgs' "where in the world can you find people playing a game of chess?" (or something to that effect...) At the time when the question was asked, together we *walked through the parks* to find it...then when I went on my honeymoon to WDW, I was estatic when for the first time after 20 plus visits to WDW - I saw the skeleton pirates in the que area of POC in a Stalemate! I would have never noticed it; more so never noticed that the game was in a stalemate if it weren't for Higgs or this game...
Yes - when in WDW I think of the CC, you have no idea how I couldn't stop laughing when I found the infamous *guard shack* at MK...and I don't think for a second that ANY of that stuff should *go away*...heck I live in Canada and didn't know what in God's name a *beaver tail* was before this game started...

... but that my friends is the *quality* over *quantity* that is slowly disappearing...no offense - fluff is fun, but if our posts contain nothing but *tri mountain wake ups*, *breakfast runs*, *whip-a-rieta's* etc. as much fun as that may be, for some of us, the CC starts to feel like a grade 3 classroom...

As for Ocean's comment
But it's up to the regulars to set the tone for the newbies
your 100% correct - and I think THAT is exactly where the problem began - certain newbies took it upon themselves to make new rules and changes - and they were mistaken for original players by new players...

and so far; I think MK has summed the *original players* feelings the best:
...everyone just throws out questions whenever they feel like it, making it impossible to keep up with. I hope people here realize there are reasons some regular players are not playing, one being that it seems the whole idea of this thread is just gone. As far as the joking around, I don't care about that, as long as the main idea is still about the PG.

Please don't take offense new players - your right the new CC is WONDERFUL!!! It's just that to some of us who were around for the first one prefer that type of game play better is all...

Yes Higgs - it was the old Sun Bank - back before ATM's when we used to have to actually interact with people! :)

You're Up to Pitch!

Thats how I felt the first time I went back to WDW after joining the game. I could see everything I had learned on the thread.
Higgs, you've got my vote.

In keeping withthe spirit of getting the game back on track, I'll cash in the AAQ that Karen meant to give me  and toss out this softball

What is the hat size of the "Earffel Tower"?

Hmmm ... seems to be this was one of the photo questions a few dozen pages back ...

Is it 177 and 1/7th?

And Madonna did I get the softballs right;)

EDIT: I am smacking myself in the head ... the photos was of the Sorcerer's Hat in MGM ... mea culpa

OK....since gometros asked before I could...I'll try to answer that one first...(I'm ashamed I don't know this one off the top of my head) 127 and 3/4??

Now..since I answered Kim's question...I'll toss one of my own

Which Mouse is represented by more full-bodied statues (not just busts...looking for 3-d full statues) in the MK...Mickey or Minnie?

Higgs - Minnie, I believe that there are 3:
One with Roy,
second in the Hub
and if I remember correctly - the third is like on the ground closer to the castle

Jen: You got all but 1 right - the peoplemover was blue...gee I guess that softballs aren't always as *soft* as some may think...;)

That's right madonna...there are more Minnie statues than Mickey statues....

That always surprises me....

Anyway...looks like you're up...I'll just be over here in my little corner of the CC having a margarita and waiting for the parade....anyone with me? :earsboy:

BTW...did anyone else notice we're on page 100 already???

Way to go...

I myself think you have found the best possible solution Higgs, and I might add this is my favorite. :)
3)No more AAQ cards for seconding a question...you can still second...but only the first to answer gets to ask...

I was thinking of the Figment vehicles ...Again DisneyJen smacking herself on the head and sneaks a Dole Whiparita into the CC;)

Looks like you're up Madonna:wave:

Thanks - ok question:

How many different Aerosmith songs are used on Rock n Roller coaster???

Again DisneyJen smacking herself on the head
SOME things Jen - no matter how hard we may try - will NEVER change...
