Good morning all!

I believe that the composer of "What? No Mickey Mouse? What Kind of Party is This?" is Irving Caeser.

Edit to add: LOL!! Amazing how we can go hours with no posts here and then three of us simultaneously post the same answer!! I guess I'll "third" 1Hour's answer! :rotfl:

1hr is right - - Irving Caesar wrote - What? No Mickey Mouse!

A bonus AAQ card to 1hr.

Thanks AB!

To keep things sailing along...

In the beginning of the American Adventure show - Projected on the curtain is an Old World map with several sailing ships heading to the New World. What type of ship leads the way?

::MickeyMo Good Luck!::MinnieMo

1hr -- this is just a guess - but are the sailing ships all lead by a steamboat?

I haven't seen that show in a few years (even though i am an AP holder) -- maybe this weekend :)

1 Hour---are they "Christopher Columbus" type ships?

You know, sailing vessels with rigging....

Like the Pirate Ships ....

Schooners?

:boat: :boat: :boat:

(can visualize--but can't remember the name)

NOW that James says this....

I think I remember Brown Viking Ships, so I'll second that...

:boat: :boat: :boat:

James - you got it! It is a Viking ship leading the way!:boat:

A pickled herring AAQ to you!

I always thought it was cool the way the Imagineers placed the Viking ship in front of the pack. Giving the nod to the fact that the Vikings were probably the first Europeans to step foot in the New World. Of course, I'm a big history buff, so maybe this only appeals to me! :jester:

Way to go James!

Good morning all! I missed you guys too...school's going well thanks for asking! and welcome to the new players! Since there's no open questions I'll toss one out there...

Which parade of the Magic Kingdom was dedicated to all things Mouse and when did it start its run down Main Street?

Tink - would that be the "Mickey Mania Parade" debuting on June 1, 1994?

::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo

I second 1Hour with Mickey Mania. :) Never did get to see that parade tho. :( *sigh*....

hey! A Manic AAQ to 1Hour and slightly les frantic AAQ to yensid1071 for the second for knowing Mickey Mania debuted on June 1, 1994! (that's the first parade I first remember seeing at MK, even though I'd been there before several times but I was finally old enough to remember!!!)

Ahhhh....I finally get here for the night...know the answer to a question, and someone beats me to it....:)

Oh well....I'll just be over here with the Dole Whips waiting for the next question.....
Wait....I can ask one...LOL

Here goes (I am a little rusty at this :p )
topic: WDW costumed characters (a.k.a Sweaty Teenagers in Large Masks)
OK...in which WDW park would guests encounter a costumed Simba character walking around greeting guests?

Higgs...going out on a limb here, but can you find Simba at DAK?? :)

And I'll toss out an early one as well to get things rolling...

Where in WDW can you find a mulberry tree that is more than one hundred years old?

:sunny: Good Morning!

Granny.... I will make a guess of DAK :teeth:

:goodvibes

The beverage coolers and thermos' are stocked with Morning beverages... Enjoy! :p
