Okay Mike, I'll guess 11:10 p.m.....don't make me pull out the shotgun! :p

12 after 9? It's something off like that, I've looked at it myself thinking, I need to remember that for the PG thread. :p

Mike....I'm pulling out that shotgun now!

Nervously looks around for any more shotguns pointed this way...
I will award the "you can fly" AAQ to MK for a very close guess. It is in fact six minutes after nine. BTW MK, that's exactly what I did :p I never made it over to POTC to count cannons though :)

Mike

I have a non-theme park question?
Do any of you 'youngsters' know where the Mission Space motto ("we choose to go...") came from originally?

Thanks for giving it me Mike. There are many things I see and take "mental" notes of.

Ok...another time question
What time is it according to the clock on the back of the cars on Primeval Whirl?
I think I'm one of the few who actually enjoys this ride.

JamesD....hey, that's a valid question, because it relates back to a park attraction!

I think the motto came from a speech by Pres. John Kennedy when he announced that "we choose to go to the moon".:)

JamesD,
I second Granny on that one. It is from JFK's speech.

MK,
Me too. I just seem to lose most of my notes :) I also like Primeval Whirl, so I guess that makes two of us :D If no one else likes it, how come the lines are always so long :p Oh, and to keep me honest, I will guess midnight...

Mike

I was just checking to make sure ya'll knew where that phrase came from. You see, I work for NASA and that speech by JFK on 9/12/62 is one of the most stirring political speeches that I have ever heard. It helped kick off America's race to the moon. Well, actually the Soviet Union did that with Sputnik!
"We choose to go to the moon in this decade ..., not because they are easy, but because they are hard..."
Well, back to your regularly scheduled thread!

I will guess a quarter of two.

We saw POC yesterday. My family were the ONLY people in the whole theater to stay until the end credits were over. Boy, were we glad we did!

MK...is the time on the clocks 1:50?? How about 3:50??

How about...I have no idea? :p

No correct answers so far....the closest is Granny, it's somewhere between 1:50 and 3:50.
Time to take cover I guess. :p

a.m. or p.m. doesn't matter, but you're closer wannabe. :p

I am desparately trying to see the clock in my head, and failing miserably... Before I fires off a broadside from me cannons (arrgh!!), how about 2:22...?

Mike

Hi all....

Well...Seems we've been busy today :)

OK...I've never ridden Primeval Whirl...so here's a blind guess...

How about 2:30 or 3:00??

No more shells left for the shotgut....So I'll leave it at 2 guesses...:p
