Parks Game! Part 7.1! Come On...Keep Playing...You Know You Want To!

Well based on Madonna's last clue I'll say 8 batteries.

Also, fun fact, did you know that while the globes are air-conditioned, they're not exactly cool. They have to be kept to within a few degrees of the air temp outside. They originally tried truly air-conditioning them, but the globes fogged up. They couldn't NOT air condition at all because the inside was getting way hotter than it was outside. So by keeping it around the same temperature as the outside air, they don't kill the performers, but it still can't be very fun when it's in the 90's outside! Also, there are panic buttons in the floor of the globes that the performer can step on and the driver will communicate to find out what the problem is. If the performer thinks they're going to pass out or something, the driver can communicate back and the parade can be speeded up so that the guest don't see Mickey pass out.

Karen.... very interesting facts :)....

Madonna... I was going to say eight, but since Karen already got it I'll have to guess nine

Satine....... Would that be Chewbacca and R2D2?

:smooth:

Ok - all I did was ask about the battery's to run the floats - B'rer Karen, by saying all this you (((gasp))) broke your *Disney Oath* that you took before going into the *backstage area* on your tour..:p

AAQ card - to Karen and since no one got it and I'm sure you all want to see this question *go away* - they are boat batteries...

Morning all:wave: Anyone elso NOT receiving email notifications? Guess that why I hard time finding my way to the CC this morning;)

Very interesting on the snowglobes ladies;) I learned something new today:smooth:

Here is a rainy Tuesday, although it feels like Monday, softball to keep us moving along ...

Edit: Opps forgot to post the question.

Name the first night-time parade at MK.

Wow...I would think seeing Mickey pass out would be kinda funny...in a sick twisted sort of way...:)

Anyway...since we need a midday question...I'll cash in another AAQ and toss one out there...
Which came first to WDW...Space Mountain or the Carousel of Progress?

Cosmic Rays for lunch anyone?

Higgsi dear is this one of your trick question;) The obivous answer is CoP ... but with you we know not every question is what it seems:teeth: :p

I love Cosmic Rays:bounce: Love those cheeseburgers right after Space Mountain:smooth:

/
No DJen...this one is straightforward...but you were wrong...:)

Hmmm...I wonder what the answer is?:)

BTW...was the first night time parade the Main St. Electrical Parade?

DisJen: I think indeed this is a trick question. Carousel of Progress was indeed an older attraction (1964 world's fair) but I think it came to WDW after Space Mountain was introduced.

:bounce: :Pinkbounc Cosmic Rays Home of the Famous Sonny Eclipse:bounce: :Pinkbounc Count me in!!

A twinkling AAQ to Higgsi;)

Is anyone getting email notifications or is it just me who is not getting them:confused:

Well...phowell gets it...a semi-trick, I'll admit....
While CoP is the older attraction...it came to MK in 1975 while Space Mountain was opened in 1974...

So AAQ to phowell...

DJen...I have not been getting all the e-mails either...

One more question...while we wait for Sunny Eclipse
How many current MK attractions (operating now) star Mickey Mouse? (note...shows and character greetings are not included)

Higgsi none since The Mickey Mouse Review is closed:(

am I the only one who is GLAD that they are not receiving the email notifications? I mean I visit here anyways without checking my email - but then there are a ka-zillion emails waiting for me...

Higgs - zero?
(unless you count his house)

AAQ to DJen and an honorary second place to Madonna...that one was a trick question...until Mickey's Philharmagic opens later this year...there are no attractions in the MK starring the Mouse (and no, I don't count his house...he's never home...:))

Looks like we need a new question...

Turning in the last AAQ here's a question to keep the thread moving:

On the ceiling of the preshow area of Muppet Vision there is a poster. What does the poster say?

Does it say...."Fozzie Bear--appearing nightly"

Just a blind guess...but hey, sometimes those work :)

Oh my gosh, I totally didn't even think about that!!! You're so right! How could I forget my oath? Will they take away my Keys to the Kingdom pin?
