Parks Game! Part 7.1! Come On...Keep Playing...You Know You Want To!

DBen nails it...a rare instance of the Magic Number...it's Engine Co. 71 :)

You're up DBen :)

Good morning all! Looks like we could use a little warm up question for a Tuesday morning:

According to the exhibit "One Man's Dream", what is the highest level Walt Disney achieved in his schooling?

It's actually the Garden View Lounge Tea in the GF where you can get *high tea*...having just returned from the GF and having this tea - at a $50.00 bill for tea - one would think it has gold in it, but I digress...

Pintrader - you have nothing to apologize for!

Hi Jen!

Granny - I can't remember this answer - did he achieve up to grade 9?

madonna! Great to see you back here....I've been busy at work so not much time to play in the CC lately.

And you come in with a correct answer right off the bat! Yes, Walt only completed one year of high school!! Not a bad career for a dropout! :p

A scholarly AAQ card to madonna! :)

Thanks for the welcome Granny!

2 Part Question:

Where are the *glass snow globe's* that are used in the Share a Dream Come True parade made? Furthermore - what is used to power the A/C inside the glass for those hard working Disney characters? (dome works like a magnifying glass in the sun - they MUST be air conditioned - to keep the characters from melting!)

madonna....taking the second part of your question. Is there a small generator in the base of each float that powers its air conditioning? I agree, they'd be looking like the Wicked Witch of the West without A/C!

As for where the globes are made.....I'll guess........Italy?

/
Well Granny - there are indeed powered in the base of the float - but not by a generator...

no - sorry Granny - not Italy...

Okay...how about the manufacturing taking place at Custom Plastics in British Columbia? I think that's outside of the U.S., isn't it? :p

Edit note: I forgot about the power source. How about a giant battery? Probably borrowed from the Honey, I Shrunk the Kids playground? :p

Yes - they are from British Columbia - that WONDERFUL place that brings WDW their monorails as well...(should of known since I asked that it would be from SOMEWHERE in Canada - huh?)

AAQ card for the place Granny!

Now - it is powered by a battery...what kind and how many?

Gee...looks like nobody in the Chalk Circle this morning. Well, maybe I'll move it over to MGM in time for the afternoon parade today!

madonna....I'll guess that the snow globe air conditioning is powered by two car batteries?

 Hi Madonna...nice to see you here :)

I'll guess it is powered by rechargable power generator batteries .... let's guess one for the air coolant, one for the fan and one for filtration....three :p

:smooth:

Nice to see you to Mbabe!

But - sorry, no - more then three..

Well, I guess 7 batteries then.
(Too boring to just keep going up one at a time, and this is the closest to the magic number that makes sense!)

nope Granny - but I strongly suggest that you re-think that *to boring to just keep going up one at a time* concept...;)

Madonna.... I'll add one more battery for recirculation.... make it four :p

Morning All! :sunny:
Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Madonna-I'll guess that the globes a/c is powered by 6 industrial grade-tractor trailer batteries. that should keep those guys and gals cool on a hot florida day!!!

now where is that cooler full of caffeinated beverages....ahhhh, that hits the spot!

WOW - and I thought I just gave the answer away by my last remark to Granny - how's this...the magic number IS involved by adding them up...;)

Sorry - no tractor/trailer batteries...
