Kathryn: Don't go too far down memory lane. This was here when I was there in 1997, but can't remember if it was there in 2000. I read that this area was renovated not too long ago (with all those renovations on main street) and thought I remembered that this was no longer there, but I have been wrong in the past.

Another hint: It isn't a statue, like the piano teacher or the partners statue, it is more like the audio animatronic figures but doesn't move or talk.

Okay. When MBabe says Uncle I know it is time to tell the answer.

What I was looking for was the "cast member" in the ticket booth outside the Main Street Cinema. The woman has blonde hair and is wearing the traditional Main Street attire of the cream colored shirt and the plaid skirt. The tag has her name and the location as Marceline, MO. Apparently the name is the name of the ticket taker where Walt used to go as a child.
I have searched the internet to find her name and can't find it. In the process I read that the this figure had been removed during a recent rennovation. Later on, I found out that there is also the same woman in Disneyland (so that may be the one that was renovated). I could not find a picture of the booth in Disney World (and believe me I have spent most of the day trying) but I did find one of the Disneyland booth, if anyone is interested (be warned the quality is terrible)
