Parks Game! Part 4: Let's Play Some More!!

OK...was it the 30th

or perhaps the 15th...

I could use the shotgun...but I seem to be out or ammo :)

Higgs....no need to play "warmer/colder" here. You get the AAQ card...you got the toughest parts of the question anyway.

WDW was officially dedicated on October 25, 1971.

Here's the proof:

Howdy foilks ... looks like we need a current question ... come on now I know you all are squirelling those AAQs away;) Andyone else not getting the email notifications?

Batter up

I'll put out a new question

What are the names of all the water slides at Typhoon Lagoon? (Not including katchakidie (sp?) creek)

DisneyJen I'm not getting the e-mail notifications either

Hey Tink:wave:

Is one of the slide the Gully Washer or was it Gully Buster? I love that HUGE slide but I can't remember the name of it:rolleyes:

For the life of me, I can't think of any TL attractions other than Shark Reef....I love the slides there...just don't recall the names...

Good question though...I'm sure someone will get it....

And I'll say Cascading Cay is one of the Typhoon Lagoon slides!

I’ll second Granny…
and isn’t there a "Slip n Slide?" Or did I just dream it?

Time to cash in my very first AAQ:

On Pirates of the Caribbean, the waterfall drop is not just there for thrills. What is the practical reason for having the drop at that point in the ride?

Brian

Good evening Brian:wave: Congratulations on turning in your first AAQ ... sounds like time for a party ... nachos and margaritas at Mexico anyone?

Is the reason for the drop because the ride is actually under the railway or underground?

Gee...I always thought that waterfall drop at PoC was just to give that skull something to warn you about! :p Good question, Brian! :)

Jen...margaritas? I'm there!

Steve since we are waiting on Brian to confirm or reject the answer on PoC why don't you go ahead and toss one out:)

Don't worry Granny and I will save you and everyone else magaritas to go with our Mexican fare this evening. Isn't this a great spot to watch IllumiNations?

DisneyJen got it close enough... POC itself is not underground, but the waterfall is at its location because the railroad tracks go overhead at that point. Once you pass the waterfall, you're in the main POC show building, and you're also outside of the perimiter of the tracks. FYI, at Disneyland, the waterfall drops (at least one of them) serve the same purpose, to allow the railroad to pass overhead.

AAQ to DisneyJen now for getting it first!

Recently on my trip I found a few mileage markers in MGM
What cities are located on the mileage markers and what city is the origin of the mileage markers?
The mileage marker is located near the parade exit and baby station.
good luck!

Carpe...pulling out the old trusty shotgun here:

Boston
Tokyo
Chicago
Paris
Orlando
Rome

And the city of origin would be......Hollywood??

Thanks Brian  Granny will pour you a margarita and Steve will share his taco salad;)

CD ... another great questions!!!

I am going to go with:

Paris
Tokyo
Hong Kong
Anaheim ...

notice the trend .. places where Disney has parks;)

Granny dear can you get my fleece-lined poncho ... it's awfully chilly here in the chalk circle tonight;)

ok i think this is a softball but hey i need to cash in my cards i have like 10....

At what attraction might you be pestered to buy something but get away just in time not to pay a thing?
might be too easy
