SOOOOOO Good to see you, MBabe!!!

I always think of you as one of the originals to play the game!

Welcome Home!

have a Magical Day!

:wizard:

Hey, not all of us PG thread oldtimers have drifted away. We just don't have as much time to play anymore :hourglass . But, we still find our way home every now and then. How about a quick softball:

Name the two attractions that were sponsored by GE once upon a time?

Been lurking, reading lots of the past questions and finally am able to hopefully answer one!!

I'm pretty sure GE also sponsered a ride called Horizons in Epcot

WELCOME Disneycruise!!!!

As they told me when I first started in the Game, jump in, there are NO penalties for wrong answers!

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

In a similar vein,
What is the cute name of the talking tree that harasses, I mean greets guests at the Animal Kingdom?

Sorry for not getting back on my question. I was called out of town unexpectantly.

wdwtheplacetobe and disneycruise05 both get an AAQ! (Just a hint: Horizons is my all-time favorite attraction anywhere, so it is pat of my questions more times than not).

YAY!!! My first AAQ!!! So here's my question, keeping up with the theme of sponsers...

What 2 companies have sponsered Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room?

Is one the Florida Citrus Growers Association or something? I seem to remember Anita Bryant being featured somehow during the "early" years.

I wasn't aware of this sponser, but after looking it up, I've found out that they were sponser. I looked at Disney World Triva (http://www.disneyworldtrivia.com/trivia/mk/adventureland/tikiroom.php) and read that the Florida Citrus Growers Association sponserd an attraction called the "Tropical Serenade," located in the building (The Sunshine Pavillion) that now houses the Enchanted Tiki Room.

After checking to make sure I was right (I have been know to be wrong on plenty of occasions...) I read that these sponsers are at Disneyland, not WDW (oops). As a hint, the current sponser does have to do with fruit though. The other is more closely related to an action that birds do....if that makes any sense. ;)

:wave2: I'll second (or third) The Florida Citrus Growers. ::yes::

As far as I know, the Tiki Room has gone without a sponsor since 1986 when thier sponsorship was withdrawn.

The WDW attraction has always been known as "The Enchanted Tiki Room".

The original show, "Enchanted Tiki Room Tropical Serenade" (version 1) ran from 1971 to 1997.

In 1997 the show was replaced by "Enchanted Tiki Room: Under New Management".

wdwtptb :wave2: Good to be seen

This doesn't apply to the game, since we are restricted to WDW trivia here, but, the DL "Enchanted Tiki Room Tropical Serenade" has had two sponsors, United Airlines was the first. It is now sponsored by Dole.

Thanks William and Welcome to the Parks Game! :wave2:

I'll keep to the feathery topic and ask....

What are the names of the two birds in the pre-show for "The Enchanted Tiki Room: Under New Management"

What year did lightening strike the Tower of Terror?
