Parks Game: Part 11! "Still Playing After All These Years..."

Hey....I thought I got PC and SSR first!!
mecry.gif

And are we still missing something?

How about Shades of Green....1990??

Oh I thought that was listed.... I'll second Granny..... although I'll guess

Shades of Green 1994?

Nothing's left. You got them all. I was just thinking that OKW was left out, but forgot that James mentioned it under the year Disney Vacation Club opened.

Home Away From Home AAQs to James, Granny and MB.

Looks like we could use a new TGIF question today! :)

How are the WDW Railroad locomotives powered these days?

/
Pineapple Dole Whips? (what a waste of pineapples...)

Sorry for my extended absence there...busy work day!

And actually, according to my source, it is none of the aforementioned. Not:

Steam (wood burning)....though that was its original source of power
Electricity
Propane
Diesel

It was a weird one, so I'll go back and check my sources, because another type of energy source was identified.

by the way Granny, I'm pretty sure MBabe is right..here's a quote-

"Originally designed to burn coal or wood, then converted by the Mexicans to use oil, they now consume diesel fuel - considerably less dirty than either of the the former fuels. - portions from the "Offical Guide"

-hope it helps!

---Ryan

Granny emerges from the shrouded computer monitor situated on the edge of the Chalk Circle, and comes to the center of the CC and announces:

"Upon further review, the decision on the field has been reversed. There appears to be evidence that the WDW RR's are in fact diesel powered steam engines. AAQ cards will be issued to MCMom and MBabe, and they will not be charged a time out!"

Play ball! :)

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! what was the "weird" source you were talking about? I was thinking the same thing to jwill...

---Ryan

The source I had said it was powered by oil. Evidently, it was only as updated as the conversion by the Mexicans! :o

Well I'm just relieved it wasnt Dole Whips. :p

I'll cash in that handy dandy AAQ now:

How many leaves and branches are on the Tree of Life at DAK?

MCMom

Granny is sitting in the Chalk Circle, counting on his fingers and has his shoes off too!

Seems to me it should be about 100,000 leaves? I may have missed a few.

And about 14 leaves to a branch, so I'll guess about 7,100 branches there (had to work the magic number in there somewhere, you know). :)
