Parks Crowded in November

Seems like the parks may be really crowded in November. I was searching online for disney hotels through the disney website for one night on November 10 and couldn't find anything at any of the resorts. We are flying in that day and going to go on the Disney Wish the next day. Was hoping to stay on property that night but no luck. :(

November will be crowded, but there are other factors at play, too. 11/10 hits both the Jersey week and Veterans Day crowds.

Plus, Disney is weird about releasing single night rooms. You may search one night, find nothing, but then search 3 days including that night and plenty of stuff comes up. They don't want you to book one night and then the room is empty the nights before or after, so sometimes they have defacto night minimums, even if they aren't stated.

I would book a refundable room elsewhere and keep looking. As it gets closer to the date (under 30 days especially), you will likely see things come up. I was looking for 11/11-11/13 for a couple nights after our cruise and, over the past several months, it went from having almost nothing to having a variety of resorts pop in and out. I would just searched every morning until I snagged the resort I was hoping for.

Good luck!!

One thing I'm wondering as well, and a travel agent I've used in the past wasn't able to answer. Disney is saying all resorts are open, but does that doesn't necessarily mean they've opened up all the inventory. I have an early December booking at POR and just for fun did a search on what else might be available the other day, and the only thing that came up was like a $10,000 stay at lodges on the lagoon at the Poly. Just can't believe it is a full sell out, makes me think not 100% of the inventory is in play.

Not sure if you were still looking for this one night room, but a bunch of options have opened up. Even though I got the room I wanted, I've still been running my own two night search purely out of curiosity and I noticed that yesterday there were suddenly several more options. I switched to your one night and there are a few deluxes you could choose from (lowest rate $619 at SSR) but none of the lower cost resorts just yet.

Still looking. Wanted to get a moderate but at this point will probably just stay offsite. I am hoping in the next couple of weeks things will loosen up a bit.

Thank you all for your posts.
