parking?

ok- a few years ago we visited the studios,and they had a deal where you buy an annual pass for cheap,and get free parking- now I see tix at 82 pp- but nothing for parking,any ideas for saving there? seems like 7 days of parking would sort of kill any savings I can justify to DH....TIA

I don't know of any deals for parking. Self-parking is free with the Preferred and Premier annual passes.

I know! I bought the passes, but parking for the week will cost as much as another pass.

That's a bummer. Is there anyway you could take a shuttle or something from the place you're staying to the park?

parking at the universal lot is about the same price as parking in the disney lots for day visitors.

if you plan to go to universal as a day visitor for the 7 days, why don't you upgrade one of the 7 day promo passes to the PAP?
the first day is not free for parking but the other 6 would be.

in the long run, you would come out ahead then.
you only need one ap to park free in the lot.

and you can use that ap for a 10% discount in the park for food, merch and at city walk.


to upgrade, you use your day ticket to enter the park, go to guest services and upgrade there. since you are first using the pass to get in, you will be credited for that amount if you upgrade.
