I live in San Diego and will be sailing on our first cruise out of San Diego cruise. We are still trying to decided if we should have family drop us off or if we should park near the port. There are 5 of us so we would need to have family drop us off in 2 cars. We thought about having an uber or lyft take us but we have 2 children in car seats and the idea of having to bring a car seat with us doesn't seem practical. We are researching parking options. Does any one have any recommendations? Our cruise is 5 nights. We would like to find a place with a free shuttle to get us to the port.

Thanks in advance!

There is parking right across the street where you can walk. Maybe a little pricier than you want (about $100 for the 5 day cruise) but super convenient.

We have used Aladdin parking, they have shuttles to the port. Not that far.

+1 for Wyndham Bayside. Park and walk across the street, couldn’t be easier. Plus you get the BEST view of the wonder as you turn out of the garage to walk across the street. It gets me every time. The Cube or what ever those new Marriott properties are called also has parking available if I remember correctly. They are just a short walk too.

I have used both Aladdin and the Wyndham. Aladdin has been mixed. It was totally overwhelmed the first time we used it and the wait for the shuttle was very long. It's only about a mile away, so when I used them again the next time, I walked to/from the port. I think I used them 3 times in total for parking at the port. They are fine, but make a reservation ahead of time. There will be a sign that says the lot is full, but just enter anyway and you'll eventually find a spot.

I used Wyndham last April. It's right across the street from the ship, so you will need to walk all your stuff across the street. A little longer than directly across the street to get to the crosswalks. I paid for my parking months ahead of time. When I got to the lot, there was only one space open and it wasn't on hold for me. I don't know how they would have handled it if there weren't any spots open considering that I had paid months before. There were several other cars circling the lot, I guess waiting for someone to leave so they could get the parking spot. I think if I use them again, I'll pay for Valet parking, but it's hard for me to trust that there will be a parking place open.

I don't know if Wally Park goes to/from the port. They are great for airport parking. I am going to check with them for my next cruise.

We used the Wyndham for our cruise in October. SUPER convenient, covered parking. It worked out great. Literally cross the street and you're at the port.
