We have booked the Segway tour at Fort Wilderness. We were told to meet at Mickey's BBQ. Is there parking right by the building or will we have to park elsewhere and walk, bus, or ???

You will have to park at the outpost overflow lot, Look for the signs for the BYBBQ and the Hoop dee doo. Walk a couple feet to the bus stop, and take the orange, or yellow bus to the other end of the Campground. The purple goes too, but it is kinda out of the way. You get off at the Marina/Settlement stop and follow the signs to the BBQ.

Hope that helps
John

Of course after I posted I realized I had even MORE questions. What time do the buses start running? We are suppose to be at Mickey's BBQ at 8:15 am. How long will the bus ride be from the overflow to Mickey's BBQ? Are the boats from MK running at that time in the morning? Thanks for your patience

buses start at 6:45 am, about 10 minutes bus ride to BBQ, boats run to MK 1 hour before opening. we did the Epcot segway tour, it was a blast.

Thank you both very much!

WOW....I wasnt expecting ANYONE to know what the heck I was babbling about, especially YOU Bear!!!! And you come off with all the right words...Im not sure mine were even correct...thats just how I mumbled it in the 80s!!!

Im impressed!!

I didn't know there was singing down here in the camping area! I'll have to come by and visit more often.

Alas, I am a child of the eighties...Pixies are still my favorite band, Concrete Blonde runs a close second, but the Ant was cool too!

You are the only one to pick up on who that is. Or at least to acknowledge it. Now I'm definitely coming here to hang out more often.

I was a big Ants fan...saw them twice. Ive never even met anyone who knew who Concrete Blonde was unless they worked in a strip club! "Bloodletting" is one of my top songs...I play it with Gerard McMahans' "Cry Little Sister" from the lost boys soundtrack all the time.

DW was a closet metalhead...my eldest DS has been shocked to find this out! I was more into prog but still loves me some AC/DC!

Rog, have you ever heard the half-tempo version of "Everybody Knows" by Concrete Blonde on the "Pump Up the Volume" soundtrack? Work well in a club!

I love the way the title of this thread changed to keep it on topic! :rotfl:

Some of my favorites may be lesser known. I loved the Origin, Lemonheads, Morrissey....to name a few.

...which, of course, you listen to while you're camping at the Fort!! :thumbsup2

I don't care what anyone says, the 80's music is still the best!! Love live Duran Duran!!
:confused3

Actually, the 80's were pretty good but the 70's rocked. Eagles, Chicago, Rolling Stones, Aerosmith...the list goes on and on. There has not been an era of music to match yet.:thumbsup2
