Parking on checkout day?

Can't find a straight forward answer to this.

If we checkout out from allstar movies and go the animal kingdom that day after check out can we still park for free in the animal kingdom lot?

Parking pass, Disney Dining credits, Extra Magic access should all be available until midnight of checkout day. I think you can even charge to your room card if a valid credit card is still on file. You can do everything except go into your room.

Resort parking privileges are valid until you get back from the park you visited on checkout day via Disney bus or whatever and collect your belongings. Under some obscure situations, and also for extra magic hours to which you are entitled, the time you put your gearshift in drive might be in the 28:15 (4:15 AM the next day) timeframe. A little earlier if you drove to and leave directly from a park.

The car will not turn into a pumpkin and its engine will not turn into a nest of rats at 24:01.

This was explained to me by a chatty cast member one time about the parking pass and other perks of resort guests. Because we expect a guest the check out at 11am even though their flight home may not be till 10pm (or later), we validate these items to allow the guests access to the parks and merchandise purchasing till midnight the day of departure. Anyway it is in Disney's best interest ($$$$$$'s wise) to allow guests these perks on the day of their departure.

No, It is not necessary to leave your belongings at your Disney resort hotel to receive the resort guest parking privilege at WDW theme parks.

OP will have a car, which is why OP asked about parking at a WDW theme park (Animal Kingdom) on check-out day. OP will be waved into the parking lot if OP has the resort parking permit on the dashboard. OP can choose to leave belongings locked in the trunk, and can drive directly to the next destination (home, airport, or off-site hotel) after leaving the park.
