Parking MSP

We are considering doing the MSP Value Parking now that we are flying out of Humphrey. It will be $14/day instead of the $11 we normally pay for off-site. But it is covered parking (which off site is not) and it is connected by short skyway to HHH terminal. Since we are going in november, this would be convenient to avoid snow and ice scraping when we return.

Has anyone use the value parking at HHH? We are on Sun Country so no need to light rail over to Lindbergh. Does that ramp ever fill?

I am interested as well. We are going in November also. The extra $3 a day seems worth it. Plus no waiting for a shuttle.

It is very convenient. You can't beat parking your car and walking across the walkway to the terminal.

I personally use Park N Fly each trip. They offer free day coupons and discounts out there. I use a free day coupon in the Entertainment Book.

My 5 day trip next month is only going to cost me $44 versus $70 at HHH.

We are going to do the parking at the airport next time (we usually have someone drive us, but we are leaving town and not telling anyone until we get there....don't want to take the chance of anyone slipping to my boys!)...and we decided it is worth it to us to have covered parking and convenient (no need for shuttles).

Something I read about is the e-Park that saves $2 a day - pretty much skipping the cashier - swiping your debit card/credit card when you arrive, and again when you come back. Our parking will run about $110 about 8 days. Not too bad..

Anne just parked there last month on her solo trip to see our granddaughter. Said there was lots of spaces and it was easy.

There should be plenty of spots, especially early on Saturday. I love parking there - it's super convenient! I am now spoiled and try to fly out of HHH every time.

It's especially great if you don't have any checked luggage, LOL. Nothing like walking off a plane, across a skyway and then into the car. We live in Shoreview and can be home in 45 minutes from the time the plane reaches the gate. Love it!

We're going in November, too - can't wait!

P.S. HHH handles luggage much more quickly than the main terminal. It's worth paying a few dollars more to be able to use HHH, but often, SC, AirTran oir SWA beats Delta anyway.
