Parking in AP valid on blackout days?

I've got a SoCal pass, one that has parking included. We're driving up Sunday afternoon 6/14 and staying overnight so we can get an early start on Monday.

Our passes are blacked out on Sunday, but open on Monday/Tues. Are we able to use the parking on Sunday to go to Goofy's Kitchen at DL Hotel? Or does the blackout dates include both parking and the parks?

Or would there be a better free parking option? The hotel we're staying at isn't walking distance (we chose the Ares Hotel 5 mins away).

Thanks!

Nancy

As far as I know, the parking pass you can add on to an AP is only for the theme park parking lots, not hotel or DTD.

And no, your pass is not good on blocked out days.

However, you can park in DTD for a couple/few hours for free, and add some more time with validation (though I'm not sure if restaurants validate, or if that's only from purchases in stores), so that would work.

It's also possible you get time to park at a hotel if you're eating there, but I'm VERY unsure of that one, so hopefully someone will know absolutely one way or the other.

You can park for free at DTD for 3 hours. Then you get extra time with validation, I'm not sure how much, but only from the sit-down restaurants, so that wouldn't help you. DTD still may be your cheapest for parking, but I'd check with the hotel too.

I can't imagine myself staying more than 3 hours at Goofy's Kitchen...so DTD sounds like that would be the best option. I was thinking we'd park at Disneyland itself, take the tram, and then walk to DL Hotel.

Silly question...parking for DTD...it's in the same "area" as the park, right? I think I remember seeing the signs to turn for DTD parking as I go to Mickey and Friends parking???

You can park at Downtown Disney or the hotel parking lot if you're going to eat in Goofy's Kitchen. Validation gives you two extra hours, for a total of five hours, which are nice if you want to walk around.

You might also consider parking valet at the Disneyland Hotel. With validation from Goofys Kitchen or Steakhouse 55 it's free. I normally just give a nice tip when we pick up the car.

Downtown Disney parking is in the same basic area. You would go in your left lane for themepark parking, and stay in your right for Downtown Disney parking.
