Hey all,

We were wondering if this is possible as we plan to start our day at Hollywood Studios then park hop to Epcot. We have reservations at Beaches & Creams just before park hopping is available so taking Skyliner or boat back from Hollywood Studios to Epcot would be ideal to put us close to the Boardwalk. We also have a vehicle and not staying on-site so have to park somewhere to start the day and ideally with kids that is the same place as where we are ending the day. We want to get to Hollywood Studios before opening and would be leaving to park hop around 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm to make our dining reservation.
We were wondering if this plan is something that is possible and "easy enough" for a family with 3 kids.

- Drive to Epcot in the morning and park there.
- Walk from Epcot parking lot to either boats or Skyliner to go to Hollywood Studios (is this possible?), would rather not take the bus
- Travel back via boats or Skyliner back to International Gateway/Boardwalk area for dining reservation
- Park Hop to Epcot then be able to leave out front of Epcot back to the parked car

Is this doable? Is there something easier to do?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately, the only way to get from the Epcot parking lot to the IG, where the boats and Skyliner are, is to enter and walk through Epcot, which would require an Epcot reservation as your first park of the day followed by hopping to DHS at 2:00 or later. You could do the opposite - park at DHS, enjoy the time there, travel via boat or Skyliner to B&C, then go to Epcot. The tricky part is getting back to the DHS parking lot. If DHS closes more than an hour before Epcot does, you may be walking back to the DHS parking lot, because the boats and Skyliner stop running to DHS about an hour after it closes.

Hi
Park at Epcot. Go out Intl Gateway. Skyliner, Boat, walkway are all outside that exit. Need to transfer from Epcot Skyliner at Caribbean Beach Resort to HS Skyliner. Boat stops at all Epcot resorts before you get to HS. You could walk to HS.
Don't know how much time you will have at HS till you have to start back to Epcot.

Free - park at Disney springs. It's close to Epcot and HS but requires bus to HS in morn, and from Epcot in evening... Maybe not desirable.

To get to beaches and cream, honestly fastest to walk from HS... Boat is next best option. I guess could skyliner around, but will still need to walk or boat after off skyliner.

I'd probably park at Epcot, Uber over to HS in the morning... Boat to beaches and cream... Boat to Epcot.

Have fun!

You will not be able to park at Epcot and take the Skyliner or boat to HS. As a previous poster already said, the only way to get from Epcot parking to the International Gateway for boats or Skyliner is to enter Epcot and walk through the park. If your park reservation is for Hollywood Studios, you must enter Hollywood Studios first, and you cannot enter another park until 2 PM. Unfortunately this plan will not work.

You can park at Epcot, then take the bus around to BW or BC...then hop a boat to HS. That's the only straighway to use Disney transportation and accomplish your plan.

Honestly, it would be better to drive and park at Hollywood, go to the park, boat over to your reservation, walk to Epcot, then boat back over to HS and your car at the end of the night.

From what I see online, Boardwalk area resorts (BW, BC, YC) don't have bus service to Epcot or HS. Options are to walk or to use the boats (or Skyliner). I see conflicting information as to whether there is bus service between Epcot and HS, but even if there is, since they started the park reservation system, park to park buses don't start first thing in the morning, since you can't enter a second park until 2:00.

Prepandemic there was a bus from the front of Epcot to DHS as well as the boat from IG to DHS. I too am uncertain as to whether that bus is running again or not, but if it does run, you’re right, it probably doesn’t start until just before 2:00 PM.

If you could park for free at DS and take a Disney bus direct to any of the parks, would be another example of how people would try to get out of paying the parking fee. DS lots would fill up with those going to a park instead of those going there to shop/eat.

You can park at HS and then move car to Beach Club for dining reservation. Walk over to Epcot after and pickup car at Beach Club at the end of the night.

If you park at Beach Club for lunch then drive to Futureworld instead of walk to International Gateway to do your park hop for Epcot.

When you are done with activities at a resort you are not staying at then you must take your car with you.

Exception: If valet parking is available and you use that then you may stay longer unless the valet him/herself or a sign near him/her says otherwise.

Thanks for all the info! I only got a notification back for the first response.
Probably end up parking at HS then hopping or just drive and park at each location.

Is this allowed? Dining Reservations at like 1:30pm and EPCOT closes at 9 or 10pm.
Once you've parked you are good. We went to Cape May last month and walked around the boardwalk for hours afterwards. We did something similar after dinner at Chef Mickey's where we visited Grand Floridian.

There are no buses from Epcot to the Epcot resorts.

No. Please don't try it. Parking at the Epcot resorts is very limited and not meant for people who want to eat and then saunter over to one of the parks for the day. Move your car when you're done eating and exploring the resort.

Seems to me that these park reservations really mess up our vacation plans.
