Parking for O'hana then MK

Hi. We are staying at the Beach Club this August. On one day we have an 8am O'hana breakfast and plan on spending the rest of the day at MK. What are our best transport options? Do we get a bus (assume we would have to go to TTC then walk, or do the buses only drop at MK so would need to get monorail back?) or do we drive? And if we drive should we park at the Poly, and then have to move the car, or park at TTC, walk to O'hana then get monorail to MK?
As I'm typing I'm thinking the last option looks easiest, but what do you think?
Thanks

Park ttc and walk. It's a short walk. Then you don't have to worry about monorails or moving cars. You will have to take a monorail to mk after but I find when I am trying to get somewhere at a certain time the monorail is always having problems

Same. Park at TTC, walk to Poly. If you don't want to monorail after, don't forget the water launches to the MK.

ETA: Clearly my reading comprehension was failing when I posted this - I only saw Ravenclaw's reference to the monorail and missed the line about the boat launch. Dangers of posting when half awake - apologies!

They don't really make you move the car post-dinner do they?

Can't you just park at Poly, monorail or water launch to MK and return to Poly?

I've sat outside the Poly watching them tow cars. And the guard gate at the resort has given out three-hour parking passes at least a half-dozen times in the last few months. You can park for your meal but not to go to the park. You must either pay to valet to leave your car or move it after your meal.

Wow, so sad. I did not know that.

Wonder how long it is before resorts are just forced to build garages.

Why is it SAD??? The resort parking lots are for resort guests paying big money to stay at that resort. The theme park garages are for theme park guests. Nothing sad about it

When I'm paying $500 for dinner at Ohana, or a show, the least worry should be a tow for self parking. At these rates, the resort's need a better solution for dinner guest parking.

The resort provides you with FREE parking while you dine in the restaurant. An 'OHana dinner will never take longer than the three hours allotted. There is a great solution for dinner guests.
If you want to go to a theme park, then you need to park in a theme park parking lot.
Pretty straight forward.

No one is saying you'll be towed during your dinner. You get three free hours self-parking at the resort for a meal. If you want to head for a park afterward there are the other two options (moving your car to TTC or paying to valet park). And before anyone chimes in with "but if they don't give out a parking pass, how will security know how long I've been there?" I've watched the security guards walk through the parking lot marking car tires with chalk to track how long they've been there.

Yes, they absolutely do!
Nope, you can't just leave your car there all day, unless you valet it. You may get towed.
Eek! Not a fun thought on vacation!

I don't get this at all. No one said you were going to be towed during dinner. 3 hours is plenty. You and everyone else are paying a premium to eat there and with it comes 3 hour parking. Better solution than 3 hour parking to eat a 2 hour dinner? Not making much sense. Did you mean getting a little something extra for eating at a restaurant because you are paying so much. uuhm no.

When I eat at a downtown $500 restaurant I am not guaranteed parking unless I valet, otherwise I have to check the time on the meter just like everyone else.

I'd just park in the TTC and take the little walking path to Poly. Then use the monorail or the little boat launch to MK when you're done.
