Does anyone know the parking policy for Chef Mickey's?
We wanted to eat there then go to MK for a few hours before taking a break.
Can we park at the Contemporary...if so for how long?

Any suggestions?
Thank you:)

I believe it is 3 hours. That is what i thought it was the last time we drove there anyway. If you have time to park at Downtown Disney and take the bus to MK or Contemporary you might be better off so as not to worry about it!

Of course if you are staying onsite, just taking the bus over to MK and walking over is an option..

Officially you will be allowed to park there for three hours, while enjoying the CR amenities. But, parking is not provided for park access. If you wish to pay to valet park, you are allowed to head to a park.
Your other options are to park at the TTC and take the monorail to the CR.Then you can hit the MK for as long as you want that day, returning to the TTC when you're done.
Or, you could park at DTD and take a bus to the CR...there are no buses between DTD and the parks. But, it can take quite a chunk of time doing this. The buses between resorts and DTD are notoriously slow.

If we have a 7:30 a.m. reservation at Chef Mickey's and are staying at CBR, are buses running that early to get us to the MK or Contemporary on time?

The buses to the Magic Kingdom start at 6:30 AM, so if your waiting for them a few minutes before you should make it and when you arrive at the Magic Kingdom use the walkway when going to the Contemporary, since it's located very close to the bus station. Also the bus drivers might ask if you have any ADR's for Chef Mickey's and will dropp you off in front of the Contemporary, however that does not always happen since it's not an official policy the bus drivers must follow.

So if i pay to valet park at Contemporary (how much is it?) I can leave my car there for 10 hours? Sweet! I don't want to take the bus at 6:30 am! If I park at ttc at 6:45 does the resort monorail run yet? 7:20 is too early to eat and be at MK all day, valet sounds better...thanks for the answers....:goodvibes

Yep, that's what we will be doing. We have an 8 a.m ressie for CM. We will valet park, go to MK afterwards, then go back to pick up the car when done. It's worth it for the $15-$20 to park and tip.

Do the buses still start that early in the fall? Our Chef Mickey's ADR is Oct. 30th, and MK doesn't open till 9 a.m. that day. If the buses still start that early, then that would work for us. That is also our day to spend at DHS, so thats where we'll be busing to after our breakfast.

Yes, the buses start that early every day, no matter what. They are there in order for guests to get to their early morning ADRs and tours inside the parks. So, even if a park doesn't open until 9am, many people may have ADRs much earlier. Those early morning buses take care of that issue.
BUT....be aware. These early buses do not run as frequently as the regular buses. Be out at the bus stop early. If you just miss the bus you want, you could be waiting for over 20 mins for the next one to come along.
