DW and I went out for a meal tonight. This was a thank you from my work for working all weekend a couple of weeks ago fixing our mail server which had taken an unfortunate turn
A cheap night out we thought!!
This didn't turn out to be the case though as I parked in a pay and display car park at 7pm and decided that I wouldn't have to pay for a ticket as who would be wandering around issuing parking fines on a saturday evening!!!
On returning from our meal I noticed that there was a piece of paper under my wiper, which I initially thought was a flyer or some other piece of junk. However it turmed out to be a parking ticket for £60 which I can reduce to £30 if I pay it within 14 days
So not such a cheap night after all!!!
I'll just have to get away with parking in the car parks of plymouth for free now to the value of £30 in order to make my money back
I think DW might disagree with that strategy though
