Parking fees if renting points??

No, because we pay to maintain the parking lots with our dues. I believe the only senario in which you would pay for parking is if you paid WDW directly.

They can’t charge parking by state law. Timeshare owners and their guests are allowed access to common elements of a resort without being nickel and dimed. Disney isn’t being nice. It’s the law.

Yes DVC member dues help maintain the parking lot. But it’s also a “common appurtenance” of the deed. If you look at the POS (public offering statements) of the resorts, they say that WDW CAN charge parking, and they can fill up every spot doing so. But, they can’t charge members to park and members are entitled to a first-come, first-served access to the lots (by law, “members” include their guests and tenants).

There are two exceptions. First they can hold back a small number of spots for concierge and so long as the majority of spots are first-come, first-served, they can restrict access to concierge spaces. Second, they can choose if they wish to create numbered parking spots and restrict owners to only the spots allocated to a specific room (DVC/WDW does not do this in most places, maybe SSR’s Treehouse Villas).
