parking fee? Nonmember staying on points

I used my points to make a DVC reservation for a friend. Friend is not a DVC member. Does friend get free parking at the resort? What about at the parks?

(Yes, I should know these things, but I haven't paid attention. Until COVID, I never would have dreamed of having extra points for a friend to use. I always used them up myself. And I never have a car with me.)

I will add that I have read a report where someone did get charged, but went to the front desk and it was removed,

So, just let them know to monitor.
