Ok, no laughing. We have always used ME and been a captive audience. We are taking a road trip this summer and will have a car. Do we have to pay for parking at the theme parks if we bring our car?

Not if you're staying on site, which it appears you are.

Parking is currently $14 per day unless you are staying onsite or have an AP.

If you are staying on-property, your resort parking pass will allow you to park for free at the theme parks.

Your membership does not get you free parking. Staying at a WDW Resort (or having a valid Annual Pass) gets you free parking.
