parking at WDW

At Universal you don't pay parking after 6 (? I think it's 6)

Yes thats right as City Walk takes over then
so its kind of an equivalant to pleasure Island/DTD where you dont pay either

To be honest I wouldn't worry about the parking charges. £4.50 roughly for a whole day's parking is pretty good, then you have the 'free' shuttle to the park's entrance. You can use the same ticket for other Disney parks if you are jumping.

Universal/Sea World were free after 6 ish and again you can use the park tickets for the parks in their group.

yes I agree - I have paid £8.00 for a few hours parking in Leeds, but don't tell my hubby!!!!

Ten days @ £4.50 (nearer £5.50 actually) = quite a lot in my book on top of the general ticket price over (say) 10 daily theme park trips.

Like many things discussed here, it depends on your perspective, but $90 is a lot of food, souvenirs, Coke, t-shirts..... ::MickeyMo

If you stay on-site and want to eat at another hotel are you restricted to the amount of parking time at that hotel?

In theory Dicky Knee, you get a 3 hour parking permit at the hotel. But sometimes you may get longer depending on various equations :)

Oh I agree it does add up but then it is a lot cheaper than some of our cities charge for all day parking. It is an added expense but when you take in to account the gigantic ticket costs it is very small in comparison. However, when you think about it £5.50 gives you all day parking in various parks, transportation to the gates there and back plus extremely good security staff who will help if you have a problem with your car so at least you do know where you money is going.

Good point on the security and (much-mentioned-on-the-TTC-tram) assistance if you can't get your car to start. Never thought of the extra's for my $.
