Parking at Universal?

Hi! Long time reader, first time poster. My family is thinking about including Universal in our plans for our next trip to Florida. I've been doing a little (make that a lot! ) of reading recently, and have been trying to tackle the problem with parking. I see that they have two parking garages at Universal, but we drive a high top van, which usually doesn't fit into parking garages. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find any information on the height of the garages. Does anyone know? Also, if the van won't fit, I assume we would have to park in the RV/Camper Parking lot, but I haven't been able to find where exactly that's located, everything just says to follow the signs. Any help would be appreciated, thanks guys!

I think the RV/bus parking lot is the same as the guest drop off area. If you look at google maps, it is right beside the two parking lots.

damo: Okay, thanks, good to know. Do you know the height restrictions for the garages?

When I was parking in the garages last year, I think the restriction on the upper levels was under 7 feet. On the first level I saw RVs and those big handicap vans. So, you would most likely either be directed to park on the lowest level or where Damo said.

staff will direct you to which level you can park in if there is a height issue with the vehicle when you enter

Okay, thanks guys! Good to know, I was unsure because of some conflicting articles I had read.

Last I checked, parking for autos was $17 and for RV/Campers was $22
